Meeting the 'Blue Blur'

Third person p.o.v
Today was a simply, quiet and peaceful day. You were just enjoying the view, of a field full of flowers and trees, as you were sitting underneath a cherry blossom tree, and little petals of cherry blossoms falling off the long and sturdy branches of the pink tree in the cool, summer breeze. The shade of the tree protected you from the blazing sun. You felt the breeze against your face, giving you a little chill up your spine, as well as your hair flying around, and a little landing in your face as the breeze slowly stopped.

You pulled the strand of hair back and sighed as you enjoyed the beautiful scenery once more. When you looked into the distance, you saw a peculiar looking boy laying underneath one of the millions of other trees. His arms were crossed behind his head with his eyes closed, and he seemed to be an animal just like you!

(Well of course he would, he's a Mobian)

You decided to go up to the creature and see who and what he could be. He was an azure blue hedgehog, wearing red sneakers with a white strap and gold buckles. He also wore white gloves, protecting his palms and fingers. He had a long nose, peachy tanned arms, muzzle, chest and the inside of his ears. He seemed to be breathing at a slow pace, the sound of him inhaling and exhaling.

You couldn't help but feel like wanting to touch the hedgehog boy, and so, you poked his ear. Both of his ears twitched, then shot forward, and he shot his eyes open, showing emerald green eyes, slowly turning to look at you. You pulled you hand back as your eyes widened. You didn't mean to do it, but curiosity got the better of you. The azure hedgehog smiled and sat up straight, turning his head towards you.

"I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to bother you!" You said apologetically. "It's ok. I wasn't napping or anything so it's alright" he explained. You slowly nodded. He stood up, placing his hand on his knee for support. When he stood up straight, he reached his hand out for you, and you hesitantly grabbed it. He pulled you up and helped you on your feet. "Thank you.." you said, letting go of his gloved hand. He gave you a thumbs up and a wink. You smiled warmly at him as he did the same.

"So little miss? Do you have a name?" He asked. "Oh, my names Y/n the A/t" you introduced. "That's a very nice name you have" he commented. You blushed in embarrassment. "T-thank you" you said, thanking him for the sweet compliment. "By the way, my name's Sonic, Sonic the hedgehog!" He said proudly, showing a pearly white grin. You giggled and held up your hand in a high five position.

He gave you a high five, but then said, "Well, it was awesome meeting you
Y/n. I hope we meet again sometime". You put a sad look on your face, and nodded. "It was also very nice meeting you too Sonic" you said. And with that, you both started walking off, and waved to each other good bye. You looked ahead of you, then turned back, to see Sonic disappear within a second. You smiled to yourself, and walked home.

As you were walking, you thought of Sonic, and how nice he was, and his warm smile. You blushed at the thought, and realised you'd made it home.

'That Sonic, He seems awfully familiar, but he was just so sweet' you thought, and opened the door to your house and went inside.
