~The Next Morning~

When I woke up, I felt an arm wrapped around my waist, I looked down with my sleep blurred vision and saw and arm with a familiar skull robot tattoo around my waist, causing me to turn around in their arms confirming my suspicion when I saw Jake - my cousin through my stepmom, laying there with his arms around me.

I must have startled him awake when I moved as he let go of me and fell of the bed and on top of James, I burst out into a fit of giggles as they both groaned in pain before eventually laughing with my giggles.

Then realisation hit me that Jake wasn't here yesterday, so he must have flown in earlier this morning, I quickly got up and helped them both off of the floor, I immediately pulled Jake into a hug, James joining the hug once he got his bearings, causing Jake to wrap his arms around the both of us in turn, even though Jake is twenty, James is sixteen and I'm fourteen, all three of us have been extremely close since we were young children.

"I've missed you Jake," I told him, still not letting go of the hug, but in fact strengthening my grip on him, "did you hear about dad?" I then questioned, moving my head back, to be able to look at him, he nodded his head, as I saw small remnants of tears on his face.

"I did Rose, I am so sorry that this happened, but we are always going to be here for you." He told me, hugging both James and I closer to him, before we all let go of each other and went down stairs into the large dining room and sitting down with everyone else, who all seemed to be aware of dad's passing and once we were all seated mum switched on the tele to the news after getting a text to do so from a friend of hers.

~News report (THAT I MADE UP, I DON'T REALLY WATCH THE NEWS, SO PLEASE BARE WITH ME)~

"Yesterday, there was an unfortunate RTC that resulted in the tragic loss of Nathaniel Sheppard, who is the ex-husband of Irish dance Queen, Anya Laird and the father of the British sweetheart, Serena Rosella Sheppard, who was attending the premiere of her latest project, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, when this tragic event occured." The anchorwoman said, as pictures of dad with friends and family through the years pass on the screen behind them, the final picture being of dad and I messing with different instruments together with uncle Mark stays on the screen.

"Since the family have been notified during an after party for Miss Sheppard's latest projects premiere last night, everyone who was in attendance has taken to social media to share their condolences to the family, causing the fans and friends that were not able to be there to respond and send their own condolences to the family, some even sharing videos and pictures of their memories of the late Nathaniel Sheppard's work or meet and greets he has done with his daughter and family." The anchorman said as a picture of dad showed up on the screen, with the years '1960 - 2006' below his face showed upon the screen behind them.

Then when the picture faded some of the tweets and other social media posts started to show up on the screen, and then some videos from YouTube started to pop up as well, all about people's memories of dad.

The final video to pop up was of when dad and I did a meet and greet, with Sophie, Jake and Sarah in the background, dad and I were laughing at something one of us had said to answer the fans question.

~End of the news report~

When the news story was finished, everyone hand a moment of silence for dad, tears going down my cheeks just thinking of him, even though it's only been a night, I miss him a lot and no words would be able to explain just how much I miss him, and never will.

After a few hours, I had decided to post a video of me and my uncles Jensen and Mark singing 'Every Breath You Take' by the Police, in honour of my dad, I brought up the idea to both of my uncles and they agreed, going into the music room and setting everything up ready to film, uncle Jensen and I taking an acoustic guitars and a bass guitar, while uncle Mark sat atop a cajon.
