HWA-YOUNG

(A beautiful flower)

▪ Female
▪ Stubborn, a bit of an airhead and impatient.
▪ Lacks sleep and ends up falling asleep at random times that her friend, Du-Ho has to wake her up or tuck her in at times.

DU-HO

(Goodness)

▪ Male
▪ Patient enough to deal with Hwa-Young, calm and collected, usually reserved.
▪ Hwa-Young's parents trust him to court her.

It was 8pm, Hwa-Young and Du-Ho were seated on the floor doing their homework.

It was always like this, Du-Ho would go visit Hwa-Young to fetch her to go to school, and if theres a project or homework to do, he stays at her place. His parents are working abroad so the only one looking after him was his Guardian.

"I hate math. This is hard to understand! I'd fail this." Hwa-Young complained puffing her cheeks as she slumped her back from annoyance, Du-Ho smiled softly "eh? You haven't even got to number 10 yet."

"누가 신경 쓰는지!" Hwa-Young then rested her back on Du-Ho who was being the eager beaver buddy he is. Answering it and giving the answers to her.

《Who cares!》

Du-Ho didn't find the homework difficult. Honestly, it was a walk to the park if anything

"언제 우리는 비디오 게임을 할 수 있습니까?" She whined as she eyed his homework

《When can we play video games?》

"내가 끝내면" He replied simply.

《When I finish》

She just crossed her arms, until it was 8:30pm, Du-Ho was stuck on one question, he kept his focus on it until a sudden voice spoke out.

"아무도 날 사랑하지 않아." Du-Ho seemed surprised by what Hwa-Young said and faced her

《Nobody loves me》

Hwa-Young just scoot a bit near to the table as she looked at her book full of 'x' marks and low scores, despite some of them having perfect and decent ones, Du-Ho just listened

"난 바보 야." She then held on to her face and continued to speak "난 못 생겼다." And looked at Du-Ho who had his eyes on her emerald ones "극적인."

《I'm an idiot - I'm ugly - dramatic》

As Hwa-Young laid back again on his shoulder "대개..." Du-Ho looked at her getting ready with what she's gonna say "귀엽지 않은"

《In general - unlovable》

Du-Ho then placed his pen down and looked at his friend, straight in her eyes "Don't say those things." She knows he was serious if he starts speaking in english

"You are one of the most funniest person to be with. And also one of the person that makes me happy."

She got off his shoulder and eyed her book blankly

"I don't know why you think you're stupid but, its normal! I dont care if you get a 0 or a 2, you will always be 100 to me!"

Hwa-Young wasn't getting any of his words and was drifting off.

"Your also one of the prettiest girl I met! Actually no. 너의 아름다운!"

《You're beautiful!》

"Dramatic, sure. I understand that, but the unlovable part? no! I DONT THINK SO! YOUR FAMILY LOVES YOU, YOUR FRIENDS LOVE YOU. AND.."

Hwa-Young was then asleep on the table, Du-Ho's eyes softened as he whispered softly

"사랑해..." he just stared at her before sighing in frustration.

"아무도 널 사랑하지 않으면..." He tucked her hair behind her ears "나는 너를 위해서 여기있다..." Du-Ho kissed her lightly on the forehead and stared at her

《I love you - if no one is there to love you - I am here for you》

Du-Ho grabbed a blanket on top of her bed and placed it over her tired body before continuing on the homework
