Percy's POV

I couldn't believe she actually called my dad.

She walked into the empty classroom that I was in, still hyper but less energetic as I was worried. McGonagall then said to me, "I'm disappointed it came this far. Usually, we would send owls to parents, however, your parents are in America. Your mother thinks you are still a small child which only leaves your father. He can be reached best by iris message, therefore, we will iris message him. Do you have a drachma?"

I handed her a gold coin known as a drachma. She picked up a water bottle she summoned and tipped it up. The water hit the light from the windows forming a rainbow. She threw the drachma saying the chant to Iris. Then she said, "Poseidon, Atlantis, the ocean."

My dad materialised in front of us. He turned and smiled at me, "How's it going, Percy?" Then he saw McGonagall behind me. "What's going on? Why's Minerva McGonagall stood behind you?"

"Dad, I'm on a quest in England, to protect Harry Potter with Nico and Thalia remember? McGonagall's a teacher at Hogwarts. Long story short, a teacher called Snape sent me to McGonagall, then I sat in her 6th-year class next to a kid who gave me candy. I got on a sugar high and started jumping off my desk repeatedly. When miss asked me to stop, I refused. I kept on refusing. Now I'm here." I explained feeling like a small child under the gaze of my father.

"Perseus Jackson, I'm very disappointed in you! I would've thought your mother raised you to respect adults, not ignore them. You should be ashamed of yourself young man! Minerva can give as many detentions as she would like. I think that sounds reasonable, don't you Perseus?" I bowed my head ashamed, not even caring he had used my full name.

"Now that's dealt with, tell your cousins that they are welcome to visit with you to my palace. Special enchantments will be used, they won't drown. This time. Tell Nico that Hades said hello and to come to visit him at Christmas. Tell Thalia that Zeus wants her to see him at Christmas as well. Also, Zeus said that he won't zap you and Nico out of the sky if you are at school or playing quidditch." Poseidon added quickly before an, "I need to go now, see you at Christmas."

Then the iris message disappeared. McGonagall turned to me, "I will only give you 1 detention, next Monday at 8 pm. I believe your father will handle you at Christmas. I will ask him to go easy on you for now. I hope you learn your lesson. We may be harsh, however, I found it is the easiest way to deal with demigods. Now, the 2nd period will start soon."

As she said that, a bell rang from outside the classroom. We made our way back and McGonagall dismissed the class. Oliver apologised over and over again but I told him, "Man, it's okay, I shouldn't have taken the candy knowing full well what it does to me. It turns me into a hyper, cocky little shi- I mean person." He laughed and walked away saying goodbye.

5 minutes later, the others walked in to see me sitting in the front row, right in front of the teacher's desk so she could keep an eye on me.

"Thalia, Mr di Angelo, please sit on the front, thank you. I would prefer to not have 3 ADHD 11-year-olds sitting at the back of my classroom." McGonagall told my cousins. Nico sat next to me. Thalia sat on the next desk, Hermione sitting next to her. Harry and Ron on the other side of me at the next desk.

Transfiguration went by without fuss. As did the rest of the day. We made it to dinner without anything going on.

In the great hall, we sat down and started to talk. Harry said, "Hey Percy, what happened when you went to McGonagall? I forgot to ask earlier."

"Oh, that. Well, nothing at first. I told her and she didn't get mad or anything. She was just... disappointed? Yeah, I think that's it. Then she asked me to sit next to this 6th year called Oliver Wood. He's the quidditch captain for Gryffindor. He said they hadn't won a match since someone called Charlie Weasley had left. Is he related to you, Ron?" I continued after Ron's embarrassed nod, "So then, I introduced myself and we started a conversation about sugar. I told him that I was a devil when sugar induced. He just laughed and asked if it was bad that he wanted to see me have sugar. I encouraged him to give me sugar. Then he gave me a full pack of sour patch kids and told me I could have all of them. So, naturally, I did. Then I got really hyper and literally jumped off my desk over and over again. McGonagall told me to stop a lot. And, I ignored her. She threatened to get my dad involved and me being the cocky little sh*t I was, said, 'my dad wouldn't do anything, he's actually cool'. So she took me to the empty classroom next door and I-M'd my dad.
