Su's (not so) Cunning Plan

Once Sue was back in Japan she spent a couple of weeks just chilling and spending time with family and friends as well as with a boy or two.Dating was never an easy matter for her,she'd been a late starter due to her idol lifestyle and now men tended to be intimidated by her,or at least by her Su-metal persona.Still,her own love life could wait.For now there was only one couple occupying her thoughts.It was time to phone Yui.

"Yui,how are you? It's been so long since I heard your voice."

"Hi,Su.Yes,we've both been so busy........"

"Don't give me that,you've been ignoring me.What have I done to deserve that?"

"I don't.......it's......."

"It's what,Yui? How long have we been friends? How much have we been through together?"

"I'm sorry,Su." Yui sounded close to tears so Su softened her tone.

"Look,I love you,ya little weirdo and I miss you.We've got so much to catch up on.I've been watching your videos on Youtube and they're just amazing.I'm so,so proud of you."

"Thank you.Maybe.......maybe you'll come and hear me sing one night."

"Sweetie,nothing could keep me away," said Su,"but before that I want you to come round to my new apartment tomorrow.We'll have something to eat and a massive catch up.You can even stay over."

"Yeah,I'd love that," said Yui.Then she paused."Wait a minute.Is this one your stupid plans,you invite me,then you invite Moa and you keep us there until we admit we love each other?"

"Yes,Yui," Su sounded angry,"I'm going to get you both round here,then I'm going to lock you in a room together and I won't let you out until you're a couple again.For heaven's sake,we were always so close and now you treat me like this."

"I'm sorry,Su.Please don't be angry with me." Yui was actually in tears.She sounded like a little girl and it almost broke Su's heart.

"I'll be there tomorrow,I promise," said Yui.

Next,Su phoned Moa and that call went pretty much the same way.Su admitted things hadn't been so great between them on tour and she just wanted to get back to how they'd been before - how they'd always been.Moa eventually agreed,then asked

"This isn't one of Su's crazy schemes to get me and Yui under the same roof,is it?"

"Yes,Moa,I've invited you both over so I can lock you in a room until you emerge hand in hand.Jeez,can't I spend one night with my best friend....."

"Su,Su,I'm sorry........" Moa sounded almost as weepy as Yui a few minutes earlier."I'll see you tomorrow for food,movies,a sleepover........and more food."

Su hung up.Wow,she was a better actress than she thought.Of course,she DID plan to lock them in a room together and not release them until they were smitten again.

It wasn't a great plan and it certainly wasn't a subtle plan,but then Su was not a very subtle person,though she was an incredibly single minded young woman who very rarely failed to get exactly what she wanted.
