Last Day

Jenna's POV

My name is Jenna Dallas. I'm a sophomore at West Morris High School. I'm considered to be the school nerd. People at school bully me. The two people who bully me the most are the Dolan Twins. They are the hottest and most popular guys in school, they are also famous. I have always had a small crush on both of them, but I know that neither of them will ever like me. You may have heard of my brother, Cameron Dallas. Yea, he's famous. He's a junior in high school and is really popular. The complete opposite of me. The Dolan Twins fans don't know that they are bullies. Well anyway, tomorrow is the last day of school, and once school ends, I'm done with being the ugly school nerd who has never broken a rule. I'm done with being so innocent. I'm ready for a change.

<Next Morning>

Today is the last day of my sophomore year. After today, the Jenna Dallas that everyone at school knows, is gonna be gone. After I got outta bed, I took a shower, and then got dressed. [Picture above, that's Jenna right now] After I got dressed, I grabbed my backpack, phone and car keys, and headed to school.

<Skip Drive>

As I got out of my car, I immediately spotted the twins. As I tried to enter the school without being spotted, I heard someone yelling at me. I recognized the voice. Grayson Dolan.

Grayson: Hey slut!

I just tried to ignore him and walked to my locker.

Ethan: Hey bitch, you answer us when we talk to you.

Jenna: What the hell do you want Dolan?

Ethan: Just to give you your last beating as a sophomore.

After he said that, Grayson punched me in the stomach and I fell to the floor in pain. He and Ethan then proceeded to kick me repeatedly. After a few minutes, they stopped and walked away and I was able to get up and run to the bathroom. I was able to sit in there for about a half hour. I decided to go my home room which is the only class students have on the last day.I had home room with both Ethan and Grayson. My home room teacher was Mr. Asshelmet.

Mr. Asshelmet: Ms. Dallas, you're a half hour late.

Jenna: Sorry.

Mr. Asshelmet: Do you have an excuse?

Jenna: Nope.

Mr. Asshelmet: Well, go take your seat.

I sit right in between Ethan and Grayson.

Ethan: Hey slut.

Jenna: What?

Ethan: You're lucky today is the last day of school.

Jenna: Yea I am. I'm lucky that today is the last day that you're ever gonna lay a hand on me.

Ethan: In your dreams.

Jenna: Yea, the ones that come true.

Mr. Asshelmet: So, today class, since it's the last day of school, you're gonna go on a scavenger hunt in groups of three.

Everyone cheered except for me. Everyone in my home room hates me.

Mr. Asshelmet: I will be assigning groups.

Everyone then groaned.

Mr. Asshelmet: Group 1 will be JC, Kian, and Meredith. Group 2 is Kara, Kayleigh, and Gianna. Group 3 is Amelia, Grant, and Jake. Group 4 is Grayson, Ethan, and Jenna. That's all the groups. I will be passing around a scavenger hunt list. Get into your groups.

Everyone jumped outta their seats and got into their groups. I just sat there contemplating my entire life. Why do I have to be in a group with them?

Ethan: Hey slut! Get up.

Jenna: Yea, Whatever Dolan.

After this summer, nobody will even recognize me. I'm gonna change my hair, I'm gonna go to the gym every day. I'm gonna completely change my appearance.

Grayson: So Jenna, are you gonna be doing anything with your friends over the summer?

Ethan: Grayson, she doesn't have friends.

Grayson: Oh yea, that's right. Well do you have plans?

Jenna: Yea, I do.

Ethan: What are they?

Jenna: It's none of your fucking business.

Grayson: Fucking tell us.

Jenna: Why, so you can beat me up?

Ethan: Whatever. Let's win this scavenger hunt.

We got our list while everyone else in the classroom was just sitting around socializing. They made me in charge of holding onto the list and checking off things and clues.

Jenna: The first clue says to go where we eat.

Ethan: What do you think that means?

Jenna: The cafeteria, hurry the fuck up and let's go. I want to win this.

We walked to the cafeteria and found an item. It was a football, which was the first item on the list.

Jenna: Ok, the next clue says to go where football is played. So I'm guessing the field.

Grayson: Ok let's go.

Once we got to the field, we found a bag, and in the bag there was a flower and a note. The note said to put everything we find into the bag, and the flower isn't really needed. So I grabbed the bag, shook it out, and put the football in it.

Ethan: Jenna, come here.

Jenna: Why?

I walked over to Ethan and he had picked the flower up. He then placed it in my hair in a way that it won't fall out.

Jenna: What was that for?

Ethan: It's a pretty flower, making you look somewhat ok.

Jenna: You damn asshole.

Ethan: What did you think I would say, that you were pretty?

Jenna: No. I just thought that maybe you would try to be nice for once in your god damn life.

Ethan: Nope. But I was kidding. I put it in your hair because it suits you.

Jenna: Um...yea whatever.

Grayson: Guys, let's go. Jenna, what's the next clue?

<Skip the scavenger hunt>

Mr. Asshelmet: Congratulations Ethan, Grayson, and Jenna! You won! Your prize it $100 each.

Grayson: I could kiss you right now Jenna!

Jenna: Um...no I'm good.

Grayson: Oh... ok.

Jenna: Welp, it's time to go. Bye!

Ethan: Wait! Jenna!

Jenna: What?

Ethan: Bye, I'll see you at the end of the summer.
