Asher's point of view
I sit at my desk the day after Stella was rudely kicked out of that Café. She said she wasn't hungry but I know just by looking in her eyes that she was starving. She probably has nothing at home and the fact that she turned me down told me that she is embarrassed that she is unable to provide for such a small thing.
I got so mad that he turned her away that I went back and it didn't end very well for the owner.
"Why do you look like your going to kill someone?" Weston asks entering my office.
"Because I might." I say.
He nods his head. "So have you figured out how you are going to get to know this mystery girl?" He questions.
"Yeah I am going to put her in charge of the party I am in charge of putting on in a few months." I say.
"That's smart. When does she start?" He asks.
I am going to call her in a few minutes and have her come in today. Eliza is going to not schedule her but still pay her. I told her I would pay her plenty of money but Eliza insisted and we both know how stubborn she can be." I say chuckling a bit at the end.
"Yeah no kidding." Weston agrees.
"Do you mind stepping out for a few minutes while I call her and then I will have you come back in and we can discuss the party." I say.
Weston complains for a second but after a little bribing and compromising he leaves the room and I dial the number she gave me.
"Hello?" She asks.
"Good morning Stella this is Asher and I am calling to see if you could come by my office within the next hour or so." I say.
"yeah I will be there can you send me the address of the building?" She asks.
"I will text it to you. I look forward to seeing you." I say.
"likewise." She says before hanging up.
I call Weston back in and he walks in with a stupid smile on his face.
"What?" I ask after he has been staring at me for the about 10 minutes.
"How did the call go?" He asks.
"It went fine Weston, she will arrive within the next hour." I say.
He nods his head. " What theme ideas do you have in mind?" I ask.
"What about we do a masquerade ball theme." Weston says.
"given what we are doing it for it would be a smart idea to use that theme." I say.
"Are you really agreeing with me?" Weston asks.
"Yeah..." I say dragging the word on.
"You never agree with me." Weston says.
"What are you talking about Weston I always agree with you." I say knowing full well I don't.
"Are you kidding me!? You never in the history of our friendship agreed with me so stop lying out of you butt and own up to it!" He yells.
"Calm down would you? Everyone can hear you." I scold.
"I'm going to get food do you want anything?" Weston asks changing the subject per usual.
"No I'm good just go ahead and see if Avery wants anything." I say.
He nods his head walking out of the room and shutting it behind him. I sit back in my seat and take a deep breath. I sit strait and scroll through my email answering some and discarding the rest. I answer calls and every now and again get a buzz from Avery and help answer her questions. After about an hour or so Stella walks in her cheeks red and her hair kind of a mess.
