~Chapter Seven~ Breakfast with Pete.

The two finished their cigarettes and walked inside.  "You sure your parents won't mind?" alice laughed.  "You never struck me as the kind to care, but my mom wouldn't mind. "

"and your father?" he asked fallowing her up the stairs. "he's not with us anymore. " she sounded sad.  Pete instantly regretted his choice in asking but upon entering her room he was a bit shocked.  It was more cluttered for his liking but it was still cool.  "make yourself at home. " she said with a smile. "You like anime?" she asked as he sat down on her bed. 

"that conformist bullshit?! Don't tell me you like it!" he sounded disgusted she even brought it up. "look I'm going to show you one anime and if you really don't like it I'll shut it off. " she turned on her TV and went to crunchyroll. He signed heavily. "fine.. " he didn't sound like he wanted to watch it but he would give it a try.  "what's is called?"

"do you mind subtitles?" she ignores his question.

"what's it called. " he said again with a hiss.  She laughed, "you will find out. " she put it on and sat beside him on the bed.  As the episode played the two watched both intently.  The first episode was over.  "it's called Corps party. " she finally answered looking at him.  "shat did you think?"

"we watching more?" he said with a smirk. He enjoyed the dark nature of the show and the Gore. The two stayed up in to the early hours of the morning watching.  By the time the sun was rising. Pete laid on her floor, as Alice lay on her bed. The series was over and pete jumped up sitting up.  "that ending!" he laughed loudly. Suddenly her door opened and Alice's mother walked in. 

"I thought I herd the TV, I didn't think I would find a boy in your room. " her mother raised an eyebrow. Pete looked away.

"mom this is Pete, he is one of the friends I made my first day. " he waved slightly at the older woman. She smiled.  "I'll make breakfast, I'm guessing your friend likes coffee too?"

"yeah, he likes it black. " alice said as her mom left the room.  "got it! Walk the dog, when you two get back it will be done. " alice nodded and plugged in her cell phone then started to put her shoes on.  "You don't have to come. " Pete stood up, "I'm coming." The two left the room and left the house with the dog.  The two had lit cigarettes as they walked.

"so how do you know how no like my coffee?" he asked. "You gave me some coffee before. " she said with a smirk. The walk went by quickly, the two slightly chatted though were quiet for the most part.  They were comfortable with the silence.

Once they were home they ate breakfast, it was awkward with her mother asking all kinds of questions.  Alice tried to deter the conversation most of the time but the look on Petes face was to funny, she couldn't help but let some things slip. Once the meal was over the two went back to her room. "thanks for the help. " he hissed at her. Alice laughed "not a problem. " she sat on her bed and looked at her phone.  She had a new message from a new number. 

' Heyyy, it's Wendy. I'm Stans girlfriend I got your number from him. Come shopping with me and the other girls today. '

Alice made a grim face. "what's wrong?" he asked looking over her shoulder.  "I'm apparently going shopping later.. " she sighed.  "I hate shopping. " she groaned "help me pick out cloths. "

Pere shrugged, "something black. " she looked at him and opened her closet reveling all black cloths then opened her dresser draws one by one, except the top one, reveling a sea of black. He laughed "I'm glad that's all you own. " he pauses, "what's in here?" he went to open her draw but she slammed it shut.  "My bras and panties, you can not look!" her face was bright red.  He shrugged.  "now we are even. " he sat on her bed and snickered.

"shut up. " she began going through cloths trying to get Pete's approvle. After a while he approved of an outfit of black skinny jeans and a dark gray button up shirt with a black tie.  She wore black covers shoes with it.  She sat at her vanity and did her make up as pete watches.  He let out a yawn causing her to look at him. "if you're tired go home and sleep. "

"I wont sleep. " he said dully. She shrugged. "what about you, think you need a nap before you head out?"

"nah,  I'll be fine. " she smiled at him. "what do you want to do till it's time for us to.. Part ways. " she made the last part sound dramatic as she wrapped her arm over her forehead. He rolled his eyes and flicked her head.  "what are you doing.  " she picked bout her cheeks, "I'm being dramatic. " he got up and stood behind her and began brushing her hair.  She was confused by his actions.  "what are you doing?"

"brushing your hair, Henrietta made me brush hers once, yours is longer but I think I can manage. "alice chuckled. She enjoyed him brushing her hair but it was over faster then it started. "your hair is soft. " he said sitting back down on her bed. "when are you leaving?"

"a few hours.. " she answered looking at her phone.  "how about another anime like that last one.  " Alice grinned and hopped to her bet putting on Tokyo Ghoul. "I think you will like this one. " The two began to watch till it was time for her to leave.
