The rest of the school day went past slowly and painfully. All I could think about was Luke.
What would happen when I got there?
What would we even talk about?
Well, I had no more time to think as it was almost time to go. I quickly took a shower and got into a pair of ripped skinny jeans and a white crop top.
I then grabbed my keys and headed out the door of my house, quickly saying goodbye to my mother. Luke's house was about 10 minutes away from mine, so it was quite easy to get there.
As I approached his house the lights were on. All of a sudden I felt myself getting really big butterflies, maybe even a panic attack coming on, but I was now at his front porch and there was no going back.
I then knocked on the door to find a shirtless Luke standing in front of me.
"Oh, look what the cat dragged in" he said with a smirk.
"Oh shut up, Luke" I said shooting him a death glare, as I pushed passed him to get in the house.
"Oh sure, Siena you can come in." I heard him whisper.
"Where are we doing the project?" I said raising an eyebrow at him.
"My room, but you know where that is." He smirked, making me feel awfully uncomfortable.
I then started walking up his stairs to his room without his consent and sat down on his bed. I then started to set my stuff out on his bed, as he walked in.
"Siena." He said firmly as he sat on his bed moving a bit too close to me.
"What" I said coldly, not even caring about my icy tone.
"I'm not working with you until we sort thing out." He said looking down at his hands.
I knew this would happen. This stupid boy who ruined my reputation finally wants to sort things out with me after three years. But, I'm not going to take it he has put me through way too much.
"Well, it's been three years and this is the first time you've brought this up, so no." I said firmly.
He then moved even closer too me, so his shoulder was touching mine.
"Siena, please. You know I never wanted to hurt you it was a mistake. You can't hold a grudge forever you know?" He said coldly.
I then stood up and looked at him deep in the eyes.
"Luke, how can I trust you again, you said you'd always be there fore me and just as things turned bad you left." I said feeling my eyes start to water.
"Siena I-" he mumbled.
"No, I needed your support when my parents broke up but as soon as it happened you left and I met Hope." I said letting a few more tears drop.
"Siena, I know I did something terrible, but I want to be friends with you again, we can be best friends like we were before. Just, forgive me, I'm sorry." He said raising his voice.
"Maybe." I pursed my lips.
"Maybe?" He said smirking standing up in front of me.
"Maybe." I said firmly.
"I can live with that." He said poking my cheek awkwardly.
"That was pretty adorable." I laughed.
"I know, I did it on purpose." He winked then sat back down.
The rest of the night went by very quickly, we got a lot of work down, and a few awkward moments happened, like when he accidentally rubbed his hand against mine or the time he caught me staring at him.
I just hope this friendship lasts longer this time around.
