I know you told me what to do, and I’m sorry ‘coz I thought I had done. But when I went it wasn’t done, and I don’t know if it was me ‘coz I did my best. I just wanted to tell you so you’d know it wasn’t me what did it. I said I’d look after Trevor and I swear I did, and after you went, I went and saw him, and I took him out and cuddled him for a bit ‘coz he’s soft and I like his ears but then Mum said put him back and I did, and I gave him dinner; and it was proper food what you told me to give him, and not ice cream like last time, and I did lock it proper I know I did, and I said ‘good bye’, and it was getting dark so I thought I would give him a torch for him to see his dinner ‘coz he would like that, and so I gave him Dad’s torch and I put it in and said good night and it was locked. Then when I came back, and I came back right after school, I swear, and when I came back; he wasn’t sitting in his hutch and I asked Mum and she said she didn’t have him, and the torch was there but the cage was open, and I reckon buster did it ‘coz he was sniffing it and so I looked and I couldn’t find him and Mum said he would turn up when he was hungry so I gave him dinner; the proper stuff what you said, and a kit kat ‘coz he might like that and I put it there but he didn’t come back, and I asked Freddy but he hasn’t seen him but I don’t want to ask that old man next door ‘coz he said I took his gnome and I didn’t, and I don’t know where he is and dad looked but couldn’t find him and so I reckon I mighta lost him. Sorry.
