The life of an engineer

First day

  It was Christine‘s first day at work.She felt really anxious about it.

She couldn‘t imagine if her co-workers would like her or not,and most of the them,her boss.She has passed the interview,luckily!Her boss was Christian Horner and she would be working as Sebastian Vettel‘s race engineer.He is a driver she has been admiring since his first day in F1.She believed that he is really talented and she was really excited for her position!

She was at her apartement in Milton Keynes choosing something good for her first day.She couldn‘t choose anything and at some point she thought that she might be late!!

After 20 minutes she chose a green dress with black high heels

While she was getting into a taxi she heard a not that familiar voice behind her

-Hey Christine!

She turned around to find Christian Horner smiling at her.

-There is no need of you to go by taxi,you can rent a team‘s car.I bet you know how to drive.He smiled.

She tried to force a smile and said:

-Of course and I know I am 24.

-I can drive you there.I‘m going now,too.Sebastian is waiting for us so we have better hurry!

Christine agreed and got into the car.A nice black Infiniti.Maybe that‘s what he meant team‘s car.

After 10 minutes drive they got to the Red Bull factory.

A blonde-haired and blue-eyed man was waiting for them.He. hasn't met his new race engineer yet.The only thing that he knew about her was only that she was a woman,and he really liked the sound of that.

He saw Christian‘s black Infiniti stopping in front of the factory. He also saw someone in the passenger‘s seat but couldn't understand who he was.

After a minute he saw Christian and an other new woman getting out of the car.He recognized  her as his new race engineer.He couldn‘t understand how a woman like that could make him win a 5th championship.Despite that he was as kind as he could be.

-Hello.He said

-Hello,nice to meet you.

-Nice to meet you,too.I‘m Sebastian Vettel,and I have learned that you will be working for me.

-Yes,that‘s true.By the way I‘m Christine

-I know that.I was told a few weeks ago when they hired you.

-That‘s nice.I hope we get along.

-Oh,I can see you have already met.Let‘s go Christine we need to introduce you to the rest of the team.

It was an exhausting day for Christine and she returned to her apartment to sleep.While she was about to lay at her bed, she heard a knock on the door.At first she was afraid to open it because she couldn't imagine somebody knocking on her door ,but then she thought that it might be someone from the factory.

She opened the door and saw Sebastian standing outside.

-Hi!

-Hi,what are you doing here??

-Well,I was thinking about going out tonight but I can see that you have already put on your pajamas.It is still 9 o‘ clock!!

-Yeah I know but I'm too tired but I wouldn't say no to a walk either .

-Will you get ready?

-Yes just wait for 10 minutes or so!

-OK!

It was about midnight when Christine went back to her apartment.She had a really good time with Sebastian.She never liked walking but that day she just realised how much she loved it!
