The first F1 race

                4 months later

Christine was walking through the paddock to get to the Red Bull garage along with her 2 best friends Fred,a car mechanic and Sally a member of the pit crew.

Both of them knew Christine‘s feelings about Sebastian.

It all started 3 months ago.They were going together almost everywhere and they were talking about anything.However,Christine knew that she didn‘t have any chance with him because he had a girlfriend,but why was he doing so many things for her?That was something Christine couldn‘t understand.

Christine POV:

I walked into the garage only to see that everybody was there except Sebastian.I took the courage and asked:

-"Where is Sebastian?Practice starts in 10 minutes!"

-"We don‘t know."Christian said

-"We have to find him"I said. Maybe I was worrying to much for the boy.So much that I might get hurt. 

I didn‘t waste any time and went to find him.It didn‘t take me long to spot a depressed Sebastian sitting with his knees in front of him and his head buried in them.His phone was a few metres away with its screen broken.I had never seen him like that.

-"Hey,what‘s wrong?"I said.

-"It‘s nothing."Sebastian answered in such a rude tone that I got offended.

-"You know you can tell me anything,please,maybe I can help you."

-"Honestly,you can‘t do anything. But since you want to know,my girlfriend is pregnant."

That was a real kick in the teeth.

The man I had been loving since I was a teenager was about to have an other woman‘s baby.I did my best not to let tears fall and I played it cool.

-"What‘s wrong with that?You are going to be a father".I said

-"Are you kidding me?What‘s wrong?I will have to raise a child that will be thousands of kilometres away from me."He raised his voice.

-"OK honestly,right now I don‘t care about your family problems, so stand up,practice is about to start."I was being the rude one at that point but I didn‘t care.

Sebastian looked at me with pain in his eyes.

I couldn‘t stand so I turned my back and headed to the garage.

Sebastian decided to follow.He wore his helmet and got into the car.

Despite his problems we catched the 4th position,considerably good.

It was about 8:00 when I got a message.I opened it.It was from Fred.

You left right after we finished our job,without saying anything.Meet me at the lobby in 20‘

I didn‘t answer just got ready.A jeans,a red shirt,sneakers and a black leather jacket.I tried to hide the fact that I was crying the whole afternoon so I swipped my face with water.

Sebastian POV.

I can‘t believe it,a baby.I‘m not ready for so many changes.I might have to quit my job.No no I don‘t want that.It‘s all your fault Sebastian!Let‘s see what are you going to do now!

Christine POV.

I got downstairs to find Fred waiting for me at the reception desk.I went close and he hugged me so tightly that I could‘t breathe.

When he finally let me go,he grabbed my hand and drove me to his car a black BMW X6.I can‘t describe how much I loved this car.

He opened my door and went to the driver‘s side,I got inside and rested my head on the window.He was driving until we reached a quiet park.We got out and sat to a bench.

-"So,sweetheart,what‘s wrong?"He asked

I stayed silent for a few seconds, but I answered.

-"Seb‘s girlfriend is pregnant."I managed to say

He looked me straight in the eyes and then let me cry on his shoulder.

Fred POV.

I couldn‘t believe what I was hearing.Seb is going to be a father!?!?!

When?How?

I knew this was hurting her so much and I hated to see her sad.

After a few a minutes of crying she managed to say through sobs:

-"Why did I had to ask what was his problem???"

-"Don‘t cry sweetheart it‘s not your fault."

And we stayed like that until she fell asleep.

Christine POV.

I woke up into my room with my head bounding.The only thing I remember is Fred taking me for a walk,anything else

I checked my phone and saw a message from Seb.I immediately opened it.

Would you mind to go to track together?

No,not at all.I replied

Great,see you in 10‘

I wore a pair of jeans and my Red Bull T-shirt.I took my stuff,grabbed my keys and headed downstairs.

I saw Seb waiting for me I walked towards him and greeted him

-"Good morning."I said

Good morning!

-"Shall we go?"

-"Yeah sure!"

We got to the track.Seb got to his car for the practice.For our own pleasure he got 2nd,such a good result.

Qualifying was even better we got the POLE!!!

Everybody was happy especially Seb!

Then something really amazing happened.

Daniel got out of his car and got close to me.

-"I couldn‘t believe that a girl like you could be such a talented engineer.Shall we go for a walk tonight??"He asked me showing his trademark smile.

I was definitely sure that I had blushed,but I tried to calm myself down.Deep inside my heart was racing.

-"Yeah sure!"

-"Tonight at 9:00.Meet me at the lobby.Dress formally!"

That was it.I had managed to arrange my first date in F1!!!!!
