The Adventures of Koro Pilot Story

Vol. 1 Chapter 1: The black angel

Unrecognized by the shadows a man walked up to the light as if reaching for something that isn't there, only to realize he's falling back to his reality

Ahhh!

Exclamated the man as he woke from his slumber and looked outside the window to see a sparkling, glimmering and radiant ray of sunshine shining through the dawn clowds

Guess I'll have breakfast

The man stands up from his wooden medieval bed and walked through the hall of his small country home towards the kitchen where he sat down and started eating a piece of bread

I hope the people in Crestilius aren't fighting again today, I really wish I can sell my scrolls in peace

He said as he finished eating his bread and drank a bit of milk he picked from the cow farm near him

*Hi you're probably wandering what's going on!? Well you guys are seeing how everything started and how I became one of the strongest mages in existence! Who am I you may ask? Well I'm Koro Alfein Valinto! A noobie fire mage trying to make a living from selling magical items in the Empires biggest town! Crestilius! Well now why don't you follow me in the adventure of a lifetime!!!*

Koro: Come on! Come on! Step right up and get your hands on some interesting things! I have anything you might need to start your magic career and more! Please step right up!

In the corner of the market Koro sat in a wooden box containing magical goods and other things while he hold a sign that said "Buy one get one half off" but his little tricks weren't holding up

Hey get out of here don't you see I'm walking here!?

Said an old rude man that walked by in a hurry pushing Koro off his box

Koro: Hey I'm a human too you know!?

Koro stand back up and picked up his things

Koro: Guess today isn't my day either... I wish something or someone could make my life better...

Suddenly a voice was heard inside Koro's head

Be careful what you wish for...

Koro: What was that!?

He looked behind, above and below but there was no one to be seen

Koro: Must've been my imagination, I'll just come back tomorrow I lost my motivation...

Koro heads back home with his motivation through the ground and a sour expression on his face, suddenly he witnessed a mysterious figure falling from the sky hitting the ground right in front of him

Koro: What the heck was that!?

Suddenly a feminine voice was heard from the hole created by the impacted silhouette

Ughh...

Koro slowly approaches and looks to find a woman with beautiful long red hair and big angelic wings but there was something wrong, her wings are black

Koro: Whh-what Are you!?

Huh!? A human... Stay back and stay away from me you have seen nothing, get out of here now

The woman spoke in a hurt voice but with a power and presence Koro has never felt before

Koro: You seem hurt, let me help you I can't just leave you like that!

I told you to get out of here now!

Koro not wanting to leave her behind he slowly approaches her as he does she starts trying to fly away but collapses in exhaustion

Koro: Ah! Miss are you ok!? I knew she needed help

Koro grabs her and takes her slowly and carefully back to his home, when he brought her home he heard the same voice again

Are you sure?

Koro with a hesitant response to the mysterious voice he says

Koro: Yeah, I'm pretty sure this is the right thing to do

As he says he walks towards his wooden home and opens the door placing the girl he just met in his very bed

Koro: I have to treat her, I'll get some herbs and tea, and I'll use reuina restrointis, that should cure her wounds

Koro grabbed some herbs and mixed them together for his healing spell the Reuina Restrointis, and some tea for when she wakes up. After having everything done Koro place the mixture of herbs over ver wounds and chanted some ancient words

Koro: Meliora sunt vulnera diligentis ad sanandum potentiam voluntatis meus es tu restaurata est, quam ubi cum prius! Reuina Restrointis!

Suddenly the herbs started glowing and her wounds started to heal like if they weren't ever there, just like that he wounds vanished and what was left was the delightful sight of her soft pearly skin

Koro: I wonder, what could a beautiful woman like you possibly have done to been hurt this bad, no one deserves this!

As he says that the woman bursts her eyes open and grabs Koro's arm making him unable to move it

Why did you take me? Who the devil do you think you are you lowlife nasty human!?

Koro got his arm out if her grip and shook it off

Koro: Hey now! That's not how you talk to the person who just saved you you know!?

The woman looks at him and giggles with a somewhat sinister face

Saved me? You're a mere human, you just walked straight into your doom, you know I'm being persecuted right? It was best if you would've just left me there to rot

Koro: well that's not what a noble person would do, and I may look like a mere human but I'm not! I'm one of the few mages in existence, I may not be that powerful but I can still pack a punch!

With determination Koro gave her the tea he made and she looked with a somewhat bothered expression

You really are stupid, fine if you wish to die so be it, but I will warn you, I am not a human like you, I am something far greater than your entire existence

Koro: Yeah I saw, but enough of that, tell me, who are you really? What's your name?

My name you say?

She looks at him then at the tea and grabs it and takes a sip

My name is Hiromi Valentais, and I am the Black Angel
