For what seemed like hours Charles sat in the decollate room staring at nothing but the mark on his arm.  There were so many questions that he had that it was hard for him not to scream who am I. Finally the man walked back in with a strange looking book in one of his hands.

It was an old leather bound book with no title. Only a weird symbol that Charles some how knew stood for knowledge even though he was certain he had never seen any symbol like it. Then again he had little to no memory of a lot of things.

“My name is Ukriel. I am like you, or similar in ways. That mark on your arm makes you a very dangerous enemy or a very powerful ally" As he was talking He pulled up his sleeve to show a mark where Charles was, but instead of a dragon Ulriel had a wolves head. “there are many of our kind,  but only one like you.  You see we are called the blessed.  The markings on our arms are blessings from the gods. They give us power of certain elements. It also allows us to conjure weapons at will." He placed his hand over his mark and it began to glow. But in a strange way,  like if darkness could produce light. As it glowed he lifted his hand and the space that should’ve been empty was being fueled by a handle of a sword. After he had pulled out the sword the dark glow vanished and in the opposite hand of the mark was a sword that was so wicked it made Excalibur look like a pretty princess toy.

It was a double sided blade that had waves down the edge connecting to the top. In the middle of the blade was a slice of metal taken out that was guessed to be used for disarmament. And it was completely black, or it was more like a black hole sucking the light from the room like earlier. Even the handle was wicked. It had a black leather handle with black diamonds going across the metal that separate the blade and the handle. The hilt was a skull with black flames surrounding it. “his name is sharp shadow." He exclaimed with a prideful face. "I am known to this world as Ukriel, but to another I am known as the wolf of shadows."

He lifted the sword and turned it down. He stuck it to his wrist, but instead of cutting it started to disappear. “all your questions will be answered by this." He picked up the book and set it down in front of Charles.
