It feels horrible to not have any friends to hang out with, every. single. day. It really does, and ever since I moved away from y/h/t (a/n: y/h/t= your home town, if you live in Kansas, just say Los Angeles or somewhere that isn't Kansas.) to Kansas.
It's been so difficult for me especially since I get bullied so often. The reason, I have glasses and never wear anything that's revealing.
I live with my mom, sister and brother. (A/n: if you don't have any siblings, in this imagine, imagine you have some😂) We moved here about a year ago since my dad passed away. Till this day I miss him to my core.
Today, I wore something a little different to school. Well, very different. I wore a plain black crop top and some high waisted ripped jeans with no glasses. For the first time in 5 years I'm going to be wearing contacts and not glasses.
Usually I wear like sweatpants and a random black shirt with my hair in a messy bun but today I did this.. I don't know why but I felt.. different.
I even put on some makeup, but not too much though. I checked my phone and realised that I was a little to early to go to school so I waited another 5 minutes.

I then went downstairs with my bag, my family gasps,
Mom: oh honey you look beautiful!
Y/s/n: yeah holy crap! Dang, you killin the look!
Y/b/n: now no one is going to even try to touch you, me being overprotective on that.
I laughed shaking my head,
Y/n: thanks guys and yeah yeah y/b/n I know, you're the older overprotective brother!
They laughed and I ruffled his hair. I then fixed my hair up a bit, since it was out.
Then I grabbed my phone and headphones, saying bye to my family and making my way out the door, closing it after jumbling my keys inside my bag.
I walked to school getting looks from my neighbours, they were really nice and one of them was this girl named Kat, she also goes to the same school as me. She's my only true friend if I'm being honest, we have hung out a lot.
