• Someone told Kai that they're parents just disappeared, it could have slipped out or they just straight up told him, but he knows they're probably dead.
• Kai starts having nightmares about it, varying from they're not coming home to something bad is gonna happen to Nya
• Nya doesn't know why her brother is awake at 2 am crying and/or screaming, but she does know he needs comfort
• Nya will go into his room, or his bed area, and hug him until he calms down, or falls back asleep
• Nya doesnt really know what shes doing cause shes 3 but she knows that her older brother needs a hug and shes the only one here to give it to him cause she was told their parents are away on business
• Later on she was eventually told and she finally understood all the late nights for years when her brother would wake up crying and screaming for their parents
• One night (around 12 & 14) she woke up from a nightmare about their parents screaming and Kai came into her room and hugged her until she calmed down, reminding them both of the nights long ago when she would do that for her brother
