Chapter 1: My First Day

Celia POV

I step out of the elevator and look around the room. Someone walks up to me. She has blonde hair. “Hello. May I help you?" She asks me.

“Yes, I am looking for Aaron Hotchner's office. I have been moved from New York to join the BAU here." I answer.

“Oh, you must be the new agent, Celia James. My name is Jennifer Jareau." She says reaching out her hand for me to shake. “But everybody calls me JJ. Here, I'll show you where his office is."

“Thank you, JJ." I say. And she leads me to his office. When we arrive at the door I turn to her. “Thanks again!" I say, as she walks off.

I give out a sigh and knock on Aaron Hotchner's door. “Come in!" I hear a voice say.

I open the door and walk up to his desk. “What do you need?" He says without looking up from the files he is looking at.

“My name is Celia James. I have been transferred to your team from New York." I say.

“Right." He says looking up. “We are meeting in the conference room, you will be introduced to every one there." He says standing up.

“Thank you. It's nice to meet you, Agent Hotchner." I say holding out my hand.

He shakes it and says, “You may call me Hotch." I nod my head, and he takes me to the Conference room.

When we get there, the only person I recognize is JJ. Hotch heads to the front of the room and I stand by the door. “This is our new team member, Agent Celia James." JJ introduces me. “You guys can come over and introduce yourselves."

The first person who walks up to me is a dark skinned guy that has big muscles. “Derek Morgan" He says shaking my hand.

The next person is a bubbly lady. “Penelope Garcia." She says with a big smile and gives me a hug, which takes me by surprise. I hug her back, awkwardly.

Next is a guy who looks like he might be Italian. “David Rossi." He says and shakes my hand.

Then a lady with shoulder length black hair shakes my hand and gives me a smile. “Emily Prentiss." She says.

The last person is a handsome skinny, tall guy. His hair is brown and somewhat long.  We shake hands. “Dr. Spencer Reid." He says, then walks away quickly. He seems upset.

“Everyone goes by their last names except for Emily and I." JJ says to me

“It's nice to meet all of you." I say giving everyone a smile.

I sit at the table with everyone as Garcia stands in the front of the room to inform us about a case. “For the past three weeks in Michigan, three little girls between the ages of 10 and 12 have been kidnapped. The first one to be kidnapped is Kelsea Wheeler. She is 11, has no siblings and no father. It is only her and her mom. The same goes for Grace Buckner. She is 12, has no siblings or father. Just her and her mom. Then, the most recent, Abigail Wood. She is 10 years old, has no siblings or father. Just her and her mom. Each of them was taken from a park. There was a note left from the UnSub each time."

She pulled up a picture of the note on the screen. JJ reads it out loud. “If you can't take care of your own life then you should not be taking care of a child. I am looking after them until you can fix your life. If you don't, you will never see them again."

“I am pretty sure our UnSub is a female. A male would not say take care and that they would be looking after them. Also, since she is taking little girls with only a mom, maybe something bad happened to her where she lost her father and it had to do something with the mom. So she believes all single moms are like that. So she's taking the kids to take care of them." I say.

Everyone just stares at me. “You are really good, Agent James!" Garcia says. Everyone nods in agreement.

“Thanks, and you guys can just call me Celia." I say.

“Alright, everyone get ready, wheels up in 30." Hotch says.
