In Faith

Is this my fate, I wonder

Locked in shadows and sarcasm

A tear in the eye of eternity

Falling on the sands of salvation

Uneasy to their disdainful guise

Blocking out my faith

Closing my eyes tight

But I know what they'll say

Where is your God

Lost in centuries of prayers

Unanswered and misled

What a waste of time and space

Questions without answers

Why believe what you can not see

You're blind leading blind

And chasms surrounding your life

It's not simply fact versus fiction

More like a mere fear of the friction

Believing in your heart and soul

What the burden of mind refuses to show
