Review #9: His Final Refuge

As starters, if I may say, it's refreshing to be introduced to different stories. Unlike the books I have read before, His Final Refuge hold a rare story line.
There aren't many chapters, just 3 so far; however, the story seems to be heading in the right the direction. I honestly didn't expect the happenings of the first chapter, which I'm guessing will be related to upcoming chapters since chapters 2 and 3 aren't dependent on it.
If I were to point out one thing, it'd be when Aria gets a new best friend from the first day they meet. The term "best friend" is a bit exaggerated for someone you knew for few hours. That'd be the only thing that I find unrealistic and a bit immature.
The story may include the bullied nerd girl drama, but I'd like thank the writer for making it a bit different; in which she explains that Aria was popular but her best friend (not the one she knew for few hours) backstabbed her and ruined her reputation; she put a story behind the new life of Aria, justified it, and kept it realistic.
