We had Divination today. We would learn about crystal gazing. I was sitting at a table with Harry, Ron and Samira. Daniel and Hermoine were sitting at the table next to us.
Trelawney stopped by Hermoine and Daniels table. "Can I try?" I heard Hermoine ask. She took a quick look into the crystal ball. "The Grim, possibly." She said, very confident. Trelawney grabbed Hermoines hand. "My dear, from the first moment you stepped foot into my class, I sensed that you did not possess the proper spirit for the noble art of Divination. No, you see, there." She pointed at the lines on Hermoines hand. "You may be young in years, but your heart is as shriveled as an old maid's, your soul as dry as the pages of the books to which you so desperately cleaves." Hermoine snatched her hand out of Trelawney's grip and she stood up. She hit the crystal ball, causing it to fall off the table.
"Have I said something?" Trelawney asked dumbfounded. I looked back at the crystal ball and I saw something moving. "I sense that your aura is pulsing. Look into the crystal ball." Trelawney told me, pretending like nothing happened. I did what I was told and looked into the ball. It felt like I was sucked out of my body and everything around me disappeared.
I saw small moments flash by. Me and my friends were in the Shrieking Shake, a black dog, a werewolf and a silver light. I saw quick glances of Sirius Black flashing by.
I got snapped out of the trance and I looked around. Everyone was staring at me with wide eyes. I looked at Harry and gave him a serious look. "Sirius Black, he's coming for us." I told him. Everyone in the class started whispering. Harry looked shocked and Ron went pale.
The remaining 5 of us walked out of Divination. "She's gone mental, Hermoine has. Not that she wasn't always mental, but now it's in the open for everyone to see." Ron complained. "Hang on." Harry picked something off the ground. It was the crystal ball Hermoine knocked off her table. "We better take this back." Harry told us. "I'm not going back." Ron protested. "Same here." Daniel agreed. "Fine. See you guys later." I sighed and I pushed Harry up the stairs. We walked back into the Divination classroom. Harry placed the crystal ball back onto it's stand. There appeared something in the ball. I looked closer, but out of nowhere, Trelawney grabbed my shoulder and turned me around.
"He will return tonight. Tonight, he who betrayed his friends, whose heart rots with murder shall break free. Innocent blood shall be spilled and servant and master shall reunite once more." Then Professor Trelawney seem to snap out of her daze. "Did you say something, dear?" She asked us, like nothing ever happened. "No." I answered. I looked at Harry and we ran out of the classroom, still shocked of what she said.
It was around sunset and we were making our way over to Hagrid's. Buckbeak's execution was at sundown. We walked though the halls and I bumped into someone. "Hé guys, why the sad faces?" I looked up and a pair of stormy-grey eyes looked down at me. "Parkinson got what she wanted. Buckbeak's execution is at sundown and we are going to support Hagrid." I told him. "I'm coming with you." He stated. I looked up at him and I saw that there was no chance of changing his mind. I grabbed his hand and started to lead the others towards Hagrid's hut.
We crossed the courtyard and a man in complete black sat there, sharping his axe. All of us glared at him as we pasted him. "I can't believe they're going to kill Buckbeak. It's just to horrible." I nodded in agreement. "Just got worse." Ron pointed towards something. Down by the runes, were Pansy, Millicent and Merea. I felt the same rage I had at the lake and I marched up to Pansy. "Come to see the show?" She asked amused. "You, you disgusting, filthy, evil, little bitch!" I yelled. I pointed my wand at her throat and wanted to hex her, but I got stopped by Ron. "(Y/N), no. She is not worth it!" He yelled. I slowly lowered my wand and turned around. Pansy and her group started laughing, but before she could laugh to hard, I punched her square in the face. She got pulled up by her friends and they ran away like a bunch of chickens. Draco even made it better by putting the jelly-leg jinx on them. "That felt good." I breathed out. "Not good. Brilliant." Daniel corrected.
We walked down further to Hagrid's hut and passed Buckbeak, who was chained down. We knocked on the door and Hagrid opened. "Look at him, he loves the smell of the trees when the wind blows trough them." Hagrid said, while looking at Buckbeak through the window. "Why don't we set him free?" Harry asked. "They'd know it was me, and the Dumbledore would get into trouble. He's coming down, Dumbledore. Says he wants to be with me when they....When it happens. Great man, Dumbledore. Great man." Hagrid walked away from the window, but I didn't.
I walked towards the door and went outside. I walked over to Buckbeak and made a small bow. He bowed his head and I took a few steps closer. I sat on my knees and pressed my forhead against his.
"Buckbeak, can you hear me?"
"Yes, I can. They are going to kill me, aren't they."
"I'm afraid they are, but I'm going to try and prevent it. There has to be a way."
"How are you going to do that?"
With a Time Turner." I pulled out my Time Turner. "I can may save you by going back in time and free you."
"But they'll think it was Hagrid who did it."
"Not if they see you first."
There appeared a sparkle in Buckbeak's eyes.
"Thank you. I'll be forever great full if you can save me."
I heard a door open and looked up. Daniel, Harry, Hermoine, Ron, Samira and Draco came out of the back door. "(Y/N), they're coming down here." Draco pointed towards the top of the path. Fudge, Dumbledore and the Executioner, indeed, came walking down. I quickly got up and followed the others. We hid behind a bunch of pumpkins and we looked as the Minister, Dumbledore and the Executioner went inside and heard the Minister talking about the execution.
There was a snap from a twig behind us and both Hermoine and I whipped our heads around. I swore I saw a flash of brown hair! "What?" Harry asked us. "I thought I just saw...Never mind." Hermoine mumbled. "Let's go." Ron urged. We ran back up the hill, to where we were before. I looked back and Buckbeak let out a helpless cry.
"I'll do my best." I told him telepathically.
We stood on top of the hill and looked down at Hagrid's hut. The Executioner, Dumbledore and Fudge came outside. The Executioner stood in front of Buckbeak and lifted his axe. He threw it down and a sickening cop was heard. It was done, Buckbeak was dead. I buried my head into Draco's shoulder and started to cry. I felt a strong pair of arms wrap around my shoulders and pushed me further against Draco. I would still try my best to save him, but I wasn't sure if I was going to succeed.
My head shot up by hearing Ron crying out in pain. "Scabbers, he bit me!" He exclaimed. Ron started running after his rat and we after him. He kept following Scabbers and he ran all the way over to the Womping Willow. Ron caught Scabbers underneath the tree and he sat upright.
"You guys do realize what tree this is?" Hermoine asked us worried. "I know and it's not good. Ron, run!" I cried. Ron looked at us and his eyes widened and he went pale. "Harry, (Y/N), Run. It's the Grim!" Ron shrieked while pointing at something. Behind us was a big, black dog. The same from my vision! It jumped over us and bit Ron's leg. The dog started to drag Ron towards a hole underneath the Whomping Willow. I ran after him and tried to grab him, but I was to late. The dog had dragged Ron into the hole and they went off to, who-knows-where. We could hear Ron's cries for help from inside the tree and we started running for the hole. There was the sound of wood moving and a strong force slapped us back. The Whomping Willow started attacking us with it's long, tentacle like branches.
Ron's screams could be heard again and I went for the hole again. I dogged the tentacles, but eventually got hit. Harry, Samira, Draco and Daniel run forward, but got hit as well. Hermoine got hit in her stomach, causing her to grab ahold of the branch. She got swung around and she screamed at the top of her lunges. She grabbed Harry by his shirt and he got lifted off to ground too. Hermoine threw him into the hole and she jumped after him.
Daniel kept the branches away by burning them and Samira couldn't get hit, because she turned into a ghost. I turned myself into my wolf Animagus and signaled Draco to get onto my back. I jumped over the branches with ease and I jumped into the hole. We landed and I quickly turned back. "Where do you suppose this goes?" Hermoine asked worried. "I have a hunch. I just hope I'm wrong." Harry replied.
I hope this isn't going where I think it's going.
