Pretty. Odd.

Distant Future.

Noel woke up to an empty bed. 

The other side was cold, which was normal considering neither vampire had a heartbeat or body heat and sometimes one or the other would wake up before the other to go hunting. 

Noel hummed and stretched out, burying his face into the soft pillow as he thought about Dobium and how much had changed since Noel had met the other vampire in the club. 

They'd gone from friends to lovers pretty quickly. Finding they had a lot of the same interests like music, killing and torturing people, history and horse riding. 

Noel smiled into the pillow, one hand going below the blanket and rubbing his sore thighs. The fang marks and nail marks were still fairly fresh and so Noel hated it when he had to leave the warm bed to head to the bathroom to put blue bandages over the wounds. 

Noel had just finished covering another of the marks when the door opened and closed, a pair of strong arms wrapping around him and pulling him against a dampened and cold middle. 

Noel looked up and smiled at Dobium, putting a hand on his cheek and the taller smiled back, his mouth covered in blood and likewise his shirt. Fangs stained a pink that would remain for a few hours at least. 

"Hello baby blue" Dobium said, brushing Noel's hair out of his eyes, "Shower with me?" 

"Last time I showered with you I couldn't walk out of the shower" Noel teased and Dobium leaned down to nip at Noel's neck,

"I promise to go easy on you" 

Noel smiled, "Then yes, I'll shower with you". 

Dobium's smile grew wider and he started the water, Noel getting undressed before turning Dobium around and taking off his clothes, kissing his chest gently, 

"I don't know how you got home covered in blood like that" 

"Took back alleys" Dobium said, stepping into the shower and pulling Noel in with him, "Besides, think the cops are still wary after that one never returned" 

Noel giggled and went on his tip toes to kiss Dobium who held him tightly against himself so that Noel didn't slip, one hand going down and making Noel moan into the kiss and reach up to grab at Dobium's hair tightly.

Noel sat on Dobium's lap, curled against his chest while the other rubbed shampoo into his hair, smiling softly and a bit drowsily as he mumbled, 

"I love you Dob" 

"I love you too baby blue, so much" Dobium said, pressing a kiss to Noel's forehead, "I'll kill anyone who takes you from me" 

Noel just smiled and buried his face into Dob's chest, a warmth going through his chest at that. At how much Dobium loved him.
