"Honey, before you go to bed, can you check on Via for me?"
"Sure, but why?"
"Oh, you know, first day of High School, it's new to her, and I think she wants her daddy."
Via had her first day of high school today, and it didn't go as she wanted it to. Oliva Pullman walks into her new school, and she can't stand them. Them, meaning Ella and Miranda.
Miranda had died strips of her hair bright pink, and showed up at school with dark makeup, and a tube top. It was also obvious Ella and Miranda had hung out over the summer, and didn't bother to talk to Via.
At diner Via ate quick without talking and went staight into her room without talking to anyone. She forced herself to sleep. And that was her first day of High School.
