Chapter two

Yara POV

(One week later)

I was sitting by the pool in my backyard with Dominique, enjoying the sun. ''So are you still talking to that guy you met one Chatroulette? What was his name again?'' She asks.

''His name is Shawn, and yes I still talk to him.'' I take a sip of my drink. ''He's really funny, and super talented!'' I start telling, ''Yesterday we talked on skype and he sung for me, and it was perfect!'' I look at her with a nig smile.

''You've only talked to this guy for like a week you are acting like you are in love with him dude.'' She looks at me with a serious expresion. ''First of all, I'm not a dude I still have my feminine parts and I'm not acting like i am in love with him Dominique. He is the first guy in years who is actually interested in me and I'm just trying to enjoy it, before it stops.'' I sigh deeply. I might have this little, mini chrush on him, but she doesn't have to know that right now.

''Yara, I get it okey. He's cute and all but what if he stops talking to you, while he made you so happy? You will be so broken I can't even imagine!'' She gives me a look. "I'm just looking out for you.''

''I know.'' I hug her shortly.

''So, you are still comming tonight right?'' I nod. ''Ofcourse I am, It's Chanel's 18th birthday.''

We had planned a big suprise party for Chanel, it was something she has always wanted and so we did.

"What time is it?" I ask. "It's 1.30, I think we should go and check if everything is set and than get ready."

We get up and walk in to the house. "I'll call Jacob to ask what they're up to." I walk up to the kitchen table where my phone was. I took it and saw that I got a little bit spammed by Shawn. I let out a little giggle which causes Dominique to look weirdly at me, I just shrug her off.

Shawn: Hey (12.37pm)

Shawn: Yara? (12.45pm)

Shawn: Are you ignoring me? (12.47)

Shawn: or did you get kidnapped? Because if that's what's happening I'll come and safe you ;) (12.50pm)

Shawn: did I do something wrong? (1pm)

Shawn: Just say something I'm getting worried! (1.15pm)

And it kept going on like that, I was just about to text back when Dominique interrupted. "Did you call Jacob already? We have to go!" She says a bit annoyed, I roll my eyes at her and call Jacob.

(1 hour later)

We all gathered together without Chanel. "So we all know what to do right? Felicity and Sofia will go grab some food with her and than they'll go to the beach house." Aurora explains for the 100th time this week already. We all nod in confirmation, the rest of us only had to get ready and go to the beach house and wait. "I'm so excited! Chanel is so gonna love this!" I say jumping.

(At the beach house)

"GUYS, Felicity just texted they're here in like 10 minutes, is everything ready?" Aurora yells through the house. We all nod and get together in the livingroom. We invited a lot of people but they are all comming later tonight, we wanted to celebrate her birthday first just with our group. We just sat on the couch waiting, and while waiting I totally forgot I didn't reply to Shawn, omg he must me worried sick. I take my phone out of my pocket and immediatly start typing a new text to Shawn.

Yara: omg omg omg Shawn I'm so sorry I was so busy today! I'm so so so sorry! Do you forgive me? (5.03pm)

Yara: Ok, so you're going to ignore me? I'm totally fine with that. (5.10pm)

Yara: I know you want to text me, just do it. You can't live without me, accept it already.! (5.16pm)

A couple of seconds later I got a text back.

Shawn: What was so important that you forgot about me? I tought you got kidnapped, not cool. I think I deserve a call right now? ;)

I think I got the biggest smile ever on my face because my cheeks started to hurt. I wrote a ofcourse back and called him. "Be right back guys, I have to make a quick call." I tell everyone before I leave to the yard.

I call him and he immediatly answers. "You're talking to the one and only Shawn Mendes what can I do for you?" I let out a little laugh. "Hey Shawn." I say with a really annoying voice.

"Hey Yara," He mimics my voice. "so what was the reason that you forgot about me?" I sighed. "I was so busy today for my friends 18th birhday party, it was so hectic. I'm so sorry for not texting back." I explain quickly, he laughs.

"It's okey, I just got worried because like we talk 24/7 and than you didn't reply so yeah." aawh I fangirled inside, he is so sweet I just can't anymore.

"Aawh, I'm sorry, won't happen again." we talked for a bit longer untill Dilara came to get me because Chanel was coming. "I have to go Shawn, the birthday girl is coming." We say our bye's and I walk back to the others.
