I hate this....I hate seeing Val upset all the time. Why can't it just be me?
Parker scuffs her brown boots, forcefully onto the cement while waiting for the bus. Valentina has always been her best friend since she could remember. Ever since the day Parker got suspended for sticking up for Valentina. She remembers that day as if it was yesterday. Lilly was shoving Valentina around the playground but when Parker saw she got furious. Parker ran in and pushed her to the ground and told her to never touch Valentina again.
The doctors are Lilly... and it's happening all over again...
" Excuse me, ma'am, are you coming on the bus or not?"
"Oh yeah. Sorry"
Parker wearily steps on the bus and found herself a seat.
"Hey Park! Sit by me!"
A guy with glasses scooted over and made way for Parker. Parker rolled her eyes in unamusement, and went to sit beside the young boy.
" Ugh...Hey Max....I thought you had to stay at home and study."
" I mean I did but I got bored so I snuck out. Parents didn't even know"
As soon as Parker heard that, an idea lit up in her brain.
" Max? How good are you at sneaking someone out in a high surveillanced place?"
" I snuck my cat, Whiskers, out to go to the bathroom at night...and I once snuck into a college party. "
"Meet me tomorrow at 7:00 pm behind Cringles."
"Wait why?"
"Just do it Max!"
"Alright, alright..."
Parker smiled slyly. Her plan was just starting.
