"You promised me, Matéo. You said you wouldnt pull another stunt like this. W-We aren't at the base...We dont have the supplies to he-" Kaïs started saying this, but Matéo cut him off. "Kaïs, itll be okay. It's...It's for the best. It'll be better this way." Matéo murmurs this to him, then started coughing. It only lasted for a second or two, but blood came up. "No its not- Matéo dont say something like that. Let me get Josef, we ca-" Matéo shakes his head and laughs a bit. "Kaïs, it's okay." His voice was so calm. It scared the already panicked man. It was so unnerving. Kaïs sighed. "At least...At least let me stay with you." Kaïs looked at him, tears in his eyes. Matéo smiled and nodded gently.
Kaïs just picks up Matéo, then sits on the floor and holds back tears. He rests his head against Matéos, giving him a kiss on the forehead. Matéos breathing had gotten worse, but regardless he was in a calm mood. He just took Kaïs's hand and he cherished the last moments the two would have together. Meanwhile Fabien had heard a bit of a ruckus and decided to investigate. He walked down the hall and the bathroom door was open. He stood in the doorway, looking at the two. His eyes widened a bit and he felt sick to his stomach. Kaïs looked at him, swallowing back a sob. It was weird seeing him like this. So...upset. Kaïs didnt get upset.
