Fabien took a step back, shaking. "Dad...?" he mumbled this, looking at Kaïs as if saying "Is this real? Am I dreaming?" Kaïs shook his head a bit and kept Matéo tightly securef in his arms. Matéo murmurs something to Kaïs, and Kaïs motions for Fabien to walk over. Fabien forces himself to walk over, sitting by them. Matéo had gotten blood on Kaïs's nice clothes, but he didn't care. Matéo takes Fabiens hand and cups it in his own. "Fabien...I need you to do something for me." He mumbled this, looking at him.
Fabien nodded, tears in his eyes. Matéo sighed and looked at him, his eyes dulling by the minute. "Take care of your brother for me. You know how he is.." He paused for a second. "And yourself. Dont turn out like this." He laughed for a minute, his breathing even more struggled. "I...I love you." Matéo mumbled this and Fabien let out a small sob, saying a small "Love you too." Before having to get up and run off sobbing. He couldn't handle it. Kaïs hugs Matéo and Matéo starts crying, hugging Kaïs. Kaïs snuggles against Matéo and comforts him, eventually feeling him getting colder.
Kaïs was t e r r i f i e d. He puts his hand on Matéos cheek and looks at him. Matéo looks at him, holding his other hand. "M-Matéo..." Matéo sighs and smiles a bit. "Its gonna be fine, Kaïs. Just help the boys..." He struggles a bit to talk, but Kaïs understands. He nods, and gives him one last kiss. "I will...I promise." He mutters this shakily, trying not to cry. He mumbles a small "I love you" to Matéo and he hears a small response from Matéo before feeling the horrible feeling of him going completely limp. Hes gone.
