It's morning, my parents woke me up. "It's time for school," my mom said. I got up and my dad dressed me up for the big day. I knew this day would come, new friends, means new possibilities!
As I got out of my room, I see my siblings eating breakfast without me, warm pancakes! I dashed to the table and made a plate and ate it right away. Then, I saw a program about, a guy proposing to a girl, and the siblings finished their food and headed out the door.
"Huh, wait up!" I shouted. "Hang on, Josh!" my mom said as she grabbed me. "You forgot your backpack, sweetie." "Oh, thanks, mom!" I told her.
Then, the bus came, and Tanner and Amelia went in without me. "Oh no!" I cried. "It's okay, Josh, your bus should be here soon." mom said to me. Then another bus came.
"My boy's finally growing up!" dad shouted as I head towards the bus. I turned back to wave goodbye to my family. "What are you looking at?" the bus driver asked. "N-nothing, ma'am," I told her. I slowly walked up the steps. "Howdy, my name's Josh Edmonson, and I-" "Quit yer yapping and get a seat!" she yelled.
I look for my own seat. Each seat had a person and these people rejected me because they either reserved a spot for someone else, or they just wanted to sit alone.
"You can sit next to me," said a high-pitched, quiet-toned voice. It was a Holland Lop rabbit, who is tan, has a brown spot on her left eye, as well as on the tips of her ears, a lighter tan muzzle, cyan eyes, and wears a green dress with a pink belt. I sat next to her, and she smiled. "Howdy, I'm Josh Edmonson, what's yours?" I asked her. "My name's Zoey, Zoey Hardin, you're name is beautiful," she responded. "So is yours" I replied.
I got out my drawing book, and I flipped it to the page that had me in the sky with wings. "Cute drawing," she told me. "Thanks! This is me. The reason why I drew this is that I was hatched from an egg," I told her. "I never heard of a dog that hatched from an egg!" she said. "And I never see a dog fly, either."
"What am I to you?" I asked her. "A person that wanted to try new things," she answered. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I asked her again. "Sure!" she answered. I was glad I made another new friend, and she's my new crush.
