As soon as we got inside and settled down, with Mason still sleeping, Dahvie looked at me with a serious face and told me to explain.

"Explain what Dahvie?"

"Why did you have to go there?"

"Obviously to pick up my father, duh"

"I know that smart ass! I meant why did we have to go pick him up?"

"To bring him home" I stated like it was the most obvious thing ever.

"Why was he there in the first place?" Dahvie asked in an irritated tone.

"Why don't you go ask him" I told Dahvie as I started walking up stairs.

I don't know nor care if Dahvie asked my dad. I went upstairs to the nursery and got Maces diaper bag ready. I'm going to take him with me to go shopping and then to my moms doc apt. As I was getting his clothes picked out for the day I noticed that Mace woke up and was just sucking on his binkie while watching me.

"Good morning cutie!" I said as I leaned over the crib and picked him up. I cradled him in my arms and started to kiss his face. I kept doing that till he stared giggling.

Then I sat him on the changing table and took off his night outfit. Changed his diaper, then I started to put on his outfit. After I had him all dressed up I did his hair.

"Wanna go to the mall Mace?" I asked Mace after I picked him up. He looked at me and smiled, nodding his head yes.

"Why did we have to pick you up at the jail?"
