Eve

Chapter 4

Later that night I had fallen asleep with Noah on the other side of the bed, and Jordan in between us. With my eyes closed, I got out of the bed, and walked out of the room, and down the stairs, following the three beautiful aromas. I had made a mental map of this place, so I could go to any room with my eyes closed.

Once all three smells hit me in the face, I opened my eyes. Food, Noah and... some hot looking dude who I strangely feel attracted to.

His head snaps up to me and our eyes connected. I felt like melting into a puddle he was that hot.

"MATE!" He shouts and stands up, advancing his way towards me. The power radiating off of him hits me in the face.

I cower in fear, he looks angry. "MINE!" Noah shouts stepping in front of me in a protective manner.

I peaked at this guy from behind Noah. His eyes were glazed over which meant he was mind linking someone. Damn I want to see his eyes colour. 

The glaze disappeared and I saw the true colour. They were a beautiful dark teal colour.

"What's going on?" I asked confused. Noah was my mate, so who's this hot piece of fur...

Noah sighed and said "This is a long story, you might want to sit down". So I sat down at the dining room table and he explained everything.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Halt a minute and back up a little. What your saying it that little old me is the descendent of the Water Goddess?" I asked and he nodded. My jaw just dropped.

"Then, is Mad also one since she has the same eye colour?" I asked.

"No she isn't. The prophecy for told that in one family within the four strongest packs in the world, four girls would be born on the same day, each with an eye colour of an un-natural state. Hence why yours are a light teal. The other three girls are descendant's of the Fire Goddess, Air Goddess and Earth Goddess. Fire, a red/orange colour. Air, and white/gray colour, and Earth, green with brown rims around the Iris" he went into detail.

"So how do I have two mates?" I asked. Curious and confused at the same time.

"Well you see. I was your mate, but not your true mate. He is. Truth be told, we never mated or had a child. It was all put into your head to make you think that I was your true mate. You had a phantom pregnancy and a couple months later, they had put you to sleep due to a deep wound you had on your stomach. You thought that you had a cesarean to get the baby out of you, when technically you didn't have one in the first place. My sister had a baby that she couldn't take care of, due to her mate being very violent to her at the time, so she agreed to let you take care of the baby and bring her up on your own. The day I disappeared was to go see your true mate here, and tell him that I had done exactly what was needed. Jordan had been injected with a tiny bit of your blood so that you would be attracted to each other" Noah said carefully, as if I would snap at any minute.

So the past four years of my life had been a lie? What the fudge? I did not know how to feel.

 "Eve look! I found my mama!" Jordan said with pure happiness running in the kitchen towards me with a massive smile on her face.

'Now that your mate is here, her memories of you are replaced as you being her Aunt' Noah mind linked me.

"That's great Hun" I said with a small smile. I looked at her eyes and saw they were a nice hazel brown colour.

She jumped on me and I lifted her up and hugged her tightly spinning her around. "I wuv you Eve!" She said and kissed my cheek.

"Wuv you too" I replied kissing hers back. We always had a wuv you think instead of love.

"Now Jordan, what do you say to Eve for looking after you?" A woman, whom i'm guessing was Noah's sister, and Jordan's mother came in. 

"Thank you Eve!" She said and I put her down.

"No problem kiddo" I said watching as she went to stand by her mum's side.

"Why don't you go find daddy, while I talk to Eve okay?" she said and bent down looking at Jordan, who nodded eagerly and ran off.

"Thank you so much for what you have done for her, in the past four years. I'm just sad it all has to reset" she said hugging me.

Wait reset? I pulled back and looked at her "What do you mean reset?" I asked. A mumbled curse word came from Noah and I turned to see him glaring at his sister, and her looking back at him apologetically. 

"What she means is that, soon someone will be coming and will erase the last four years of your life, to your 18th birthday which is where you will continue your life from. We wont be mates, you will find your mate. None of us will remember any of this since we are involved, a bit of your past is already re written, so that it looks like Maddie is your older sister since her time line would mess up if she had to be reset as well" Noah explained.

"But. My 18th was only a week after... everything" I said.

"I know, I know, but it has to be done. Its the only way you will be strong enough for when the large stage of the prophecy has to be completed" he replied. 

The door rang once he finished speaking. Noah's sister and a woman came back into the kitchen.

"Is there a more private place we could do this?" she asked Noah. He nodded and led us up to my old room which was now empty, apart from the bead, furniture and bed sheets.

"Right I understand that i'm erasing everything of the past four years, so you'll be 18 and none of this would have happened. I need you to get under the covers" she said when we were in the room. I did as she instructed and she looked at Noah "I need privacy" was all she said to him.

He came over to me and kissed my forehead before saying "See you soon". He left and closed the door softly behind him.

"Close your eyes. Take deep breaths. Stay calm. Focus" she said and I did all of them. Soon enough, all the good and bad memories flashed through my mind like pictures. Moving images with no sound, all in reverse from most recent, till everything went blank.

Hey guys! That wasn't what I originally had in mind for this chapter, but then I got the idea and I thought it was good since i've been reading a lot on here lately and i've seen nothing like it in the wolf department. 

If you are confused, i'll explain it now. 

That month when Eve found out she was pregnant and Noah had disappeared, he had gone to see Eve's true mate. There are three other girls who this would also be happening to, but their names wont be mentioned in this book, since there will be three other books explaining their stories and pasts. The prophecy they talk about is in the end, the four girls meet and combine their powers (trying not to create spoilers so with that part that's all you get to know). 

Anyway, now that she knows about her true mate. The last four years of her life must be erased so that she will be strong enough to learn how to and train her powers. She will learn that she has powers and who she is from something she finds when she wakes up in the next chapter.

That's pretty much it. Oh, my original idea for this chapter was that, she found all the stuff out about who she is and her true mate. They have a heated make out session, then she has one with Noah as well. But then I realized that she already has a kid and has been marked and the only thing I could think of to get around that was what you have just read.
