Eve

Chapter 13

Its been four days! I can barley move since it burns so much. I have to blink at Ryan, well since he's in wolf form his name is Alex. But still. I have to blink at him, just to get him to lick my burning skin to cool it.

'Ashley' I called through mind link.

'Yeah. What's up?'

'Wasn't my heat supposed to end yesterday?'

'Ah on my way' was her reply and she cut off the link, emerging through the door seconds later. Anyone who came into my room, Alex would growl at until I told him who it was. 

"Can you do something" I said with gritted teeth as an excruciating burning pain ran through my body. I felt like I could explode any minute. 

I have no idea what she did, but instantly the pain was gone. I found my self running and locking my self in my bathroom stripping the sweat drenched clothes from my body, and taking a well needed shower.

By the time I was done and dressed into an oversized t-shirt and leggings, I felt drained of any energy I had. I climbed into the freshly made bed and Ashley said "Sleep tight" as she left my room, softly shutting the door behind her. Ryan's wolf Alex climbed onto the bed and rested his head on me. 

I sighed in happiness. I held the cover under my chin with one hand, while I ran my other through Alex's fur. He snuggled up next to me, and I swear I heard a sigh from him.

When I woke up it was dark outside. I frowned. Two beautiful smells filled my nose. I inhaled deeply.

Mint and pine forest was one, my mate to be exact, the other was coming from downstairs.

"C'mon sleeping beauty" A voice said sweeping me off the bed bridal style. I smiled and kissed his lips. He put me down and I jumped onto his back.

We sat down and held hands under the table. Nudging each other with our shoulders now and then, while people entered and sat down.

Once everyone was seated, a chair scraped against the floor, and a glass was gently hit with cutlery.

"Everyone I have an announcement to make" my fathers voice spoke through the air. Everyone looked to him.

"As some of you know, I have been reunited with my true mate, through our daughter Eve. She is now the beta female and will be here to stay. I am also proud to announce that she is pregnant with our second child" he said and cheerers and claps echoed around the hall.

I stood up and hugged the both of them in excitement.

"I also have something to say" Alpha Nathan said standing us as my father and Ashley sat down. I need to get used to calling her mum...

"Our pack, and Alpha Reynolds pack, are merging as one, seeing as so many of you have found your mate in each other pack. So we will have two Alpha's, two Beta's and two Gamma's. I expect you all to get along, and to respect my son, Noah, and Alpha Reynold's son Ryan, when they step up as Alpha. Also, Eve, as you are the Beta, since you are mated to an Alpha, you will take the Alpha female title, and choose who will take the Beta title" 

"Do I have to move out?" I asked panicked. I couldn't loose my library. Mate or not, that place is more important.

Nathan chuckled "No you don't, were having another pack house built next to this one for the other pack" he said and I sighed in relief.

My father smiled at me knowing what it was about, so did Alpha Nathan. 

After dinner, Ryan went back to his territory to sort out some things. I was currently in my room. I put my spotify playlist on random and Shake it off by Taylor Swift came on.
