As summer went on Harry and I grew closer like we were in the past. I explained everything to my parents about his situation and that we are now together and all. My parents have always loved Harry so they were thrilled when they received the news, but devastated about what happened at school. Liz and Han still don't know and I have to explain everything to them when everyone's back from vacation I've already teased them a little but for know they can wait.

Now I'm in the middle of having to force Harry out of my bed and take him home. It's been a week since the last day of school and he still hasn't gone home when his parents were there. Only going back for the necessary, clothes, a toothbrush, condoms... I mean we aren't having sex or anything but we talked about keeping them at my place thinking they could be useful eventually.

When we arrive it looks just like it always has, a deep sapphire blue with flowers leading up the stairs. Harry's parents were always so nice when we were younger, I guess a lot can change in the glimpse of it all. I learn that people can change just as quick as feelings. Harry's parents are home, cars parked in the driveway, I take a look before we step in, hand in hand. Everything looks the same, as if it hasn't changed for years. Harry's parents are sitting at the dinner table discussing bills I'm guessing.

"Son." Harry's dad shouts across the room with a look of pure anger. Instantly the mood switches as I move from behind Harry and stand in front of him to protect him from whatever his dad's fist was about to inflict . I'm standing no less than and inch from Harry's dad.

"Hi Mr. Styles!" I say cheerfully making it aware to both his mom and dad that I'm here.

"Arrow? Is that you sweetie?" Mrs. Styles squeals and runs over to kiss my check and hugs me tight. Harry's dad practically had his jaw on the floor by now, either surprised that I am here or that I was nearly knocked out by his fist.

"Haha, Arrow... how are you?" Mr. S says trying to play the cards as if everything was okay.

" Well I was doing okay before you almost gave me a concussion. How are you?" is all I can say before his face turns bright red. Harry's leaning against the door frame watching this all play out, with a concerned look laying in his face.

"Anyway I just came to stop by and say; Harry and I are dating, you need to stop abusing him before I call the police, and harry isn't as weak as you believe, he punched someone in the stomach for bullying a ninth grader. Oh! and he's playing football this season, nonetheless he's stronger than you think so you can stop beating him up for it or I'll tell my father. Remember him? The state cop?"

By now I have everyone's attention and Harry and his mother look like they're about to pass out any second now. Harry's father is looking at Harry, and in any other situation Mr. Styles would've probably punched me, killed Harry and dropped our bodies in Mexico for wolves to eat us. But, instead he starts crying, and to my surprise Harry does too. Him and his father used to be super close, but ever since Harry's younger sister Elly died due to cancer, Harry's dad went mad.

"I knew I was doing wrong, son I'm sorry, I was never like this, please forgive me." Mr. Styles tries to say between hysterical sobs. Mrs. Styles eventually join the fiasco and I step out onto the porch to give them all a moment.

Nothing about this house felt any different. There was still chipped paint on the balcony and bird feeders in every tree. I step down and walk to an oak tree that grows marvelously in the side of the house, which is where Harry and I used to love to talk under the shade. I crouch down and noticed our initials are still ingraved into its root. "H.S + A.M" it reads, we spent hours imprinting each other's initials so I'd stay forever, like we hoped our love would. It was Elly who broke us apart, it wasn't her fault but after she died we both felt like we needed time to ourselves, she was like a little sister to me. Her death pushed Harry and I apart instead of bringing us together like it should have. She would always come with us to the park where we all sat and watched the sun go down on a bench near the entrance. Elly's death pushed Harry and his parents apart too, but that was never her intention. She wanted to be known as the girl who made people laugh, not the one who died at the age of seven, on her birthday, due to cancer.
