Carmella's POV:

Tonight is Smackdown Live and to be honest she wasn't  feeling up to it. Being on this brand for me sparks up so many memories, good and bad. It's been a year since she last seen Randy Orton. He's been out injured for quite sometime so she was expecting his return to be very soon. There was a draft just after he got injured so she was hoping that he had gotten drafted to Monday Night Raw  so she wouldn't have to see his face again until there's a Survivor Series PPV which isn't till a few months away.

She had to admit it sucked because she did miss him even though he turned her down and basically humiliated herself in front of him.  But he made his decision. She was his so called weakness and a distraction. He didn't want her so she had to leave him in the past. But she was okay with that so she thought it's about time she held her head high and moved on with her life. She couldn't keep doing this to herself.

Carmella walked down the corridor until she heard her name being called. She looked up at see Nikki and Brie sitting on containers. "Hey girls, what's up?" She said with a brave face.

"Oh nothing, just talking to Brie about the Money in the Bank ladder match" Nikki said swigging her legs back and forwards.

"Oh right, you girls nervous? Cause I am. We haven't experienced a ladder match before and we don't know what to expect" Carmella shivers at thought of being hit or landing against the steel ladder.

"I think we'll be okay. It will be good for us, back to breaking down more barriers for women wrestling" Brie said trying to make Carmella feel better about the match.

"Yeah true but it's going to be a sore one for sure. Hope to god I don't get covered with too much bruising" Nikki said as she was worried about how her skin was going to look after the match.

Brie rolled her eyes at her sister while Carmella looked down at the floor looking all gloom "Hey are you okay?" Brie asked as she noticed Carmella's face fell.

"Yeah I'm fine, well trying to be" Carmella started "It's just that Randy has been out of action for months now and I think he's going to be expected to return soon and I don't know how I am going to be able to cope with him being on the same brand as me"

Brie and Nikki both knew what happened between Carmella and Randy Orton. Cause they were there to pick up the pieces when no one else would.

"Carmella, I've told you this before and I will tell you again. You gotta get over the Randy situation it's been what? 2 years now when you confessed to him and its only been a year since he floged you off..." Nikki got interrupted by Brie.

"Nikki!" Brie glared at her sister "What Nikki was trying to say was it's his loss. If he doesn't want you for you then he was never gonna be the guy for you. Think of it as a blessing, you wouldn't of wanted to be with someone who didn't love you back. Think of it as a lucky escape"

Nikki nodded at her sisters words. She knew Brie was right and so did Carmella, she just didn't want to believe it. Carmella started to well up "It just hurts. I just never thought he would do this to me, I looked into his eyes and I saw nothing. No emotion, no feeling. Nothing but an empty soul. I still love him Brie. And I know he doesn't have feeling for me and thats why it hurts so much" Nikki and Brie comforted Carmella until she couldn't cry anymore. "But what does it matter now? The man that I love doesn't love me back"

Randy Orton's POV:

His Smackdown Live return was tonight. These past few days have taken some time to get used to. Getting back into my training rountue after being out for nine months. Being back in the WWE is his main focus even though he can't get his mind off Carmella. He knew what he did was wrong but it was the best way to cope and attempt to forget about her. He was at the peak of his career before he got taken out by Seth Rollins. He was the face of the WWE and all that got taken away from him because of one Curb Stomp to the head. He needed to get back to the top and do that he needed no distractions, so whatever he was feeling towards Carmella he needed to slip  it to the back of his mind. Because Seth Rollins, Randy Orton is coming for you.
