13 Reasons why is about this girl who kills herself and leaves behind 13 tapes basically explaining why she killed herself. The show tries to point out the "harsh reality" of life, I guess. It's a pretty good show in general but there are some problems that I have with it. First, in the first episode of the first season, Hannah goes on a date with this "cute" guy. They go on the date he takes a pic of her and it shows a bit of her underwear. The picture is forwarded to the whole school, and somehow everyone turns against her and thinks that's she's a "slut" or a "whore." While in reality, I don't think that a picture is something that the whole school would talk about or care about.

Like sure, there would be some comments here and there from people but other wise no one would care. Moving on, things are up and downhill for Hannah. She goes through and series of good and bad events. But what I noticed is that; she pushes people away, she doesn't actually go for help, she doesn't have any friends, really, etc. But I'm one scene she gets raped. While, I know that rape is a serious issue, that's a whole other topic, that I will talk about some other time, maybe. Instead of doing something to prevent getting pregnant, catching any diseases, etc. She just deals with it. Then towards the end of the show, she goes to the school counselor, an adult who can actually help her.

She talks to him about her issues but she won't tell him who raped her, really just no specifics. She tries to leave on multiple occasions but he has her sit back down so they can continue talking. Finally, he let's her go, but she basically gets mad that he didn't run after her. Then on another occasion, she's with Clay, they're about to fuck, but she has a panic attack, I guess, he tries to help her but she tells him to leave multiple times, so he does. Then in her tape she says "why'd you leave?" to guilt trip him or whatever, I didn't find that fair or right.

What I've learned is that 13 reasons why doesn't make sense, Hannah Baker isn't a shy girl who's introverted so that makes it hard for her to get help, it's an intense show that I wouldn't make sense.

Hello! I realize my explanation is kind of all over the place but I'm not bothering to fix it. Anyways, might post another chapter tonight if I don't get too tired or lazy. Hell, I don't even know if people read the shit I write. Well whatever, Goodnight, Good Morning, Have a nice rest of the day or night!
