The sunlight penetrated through the glass window,
But it's brightness never reached me
The laughter bubbled in my throat,
But it's happiness never dawned upon me
A smile crept on my face,
But it's satisfaction never found me
Achievements after achievements came my way,
But it's pride never seeped into me
The deeds of virtue became my routine,
But it's salvation never hugged me
All this because I lacked faith in someone,
And that someone was unfortunately me.
