A hand touched Seokjin's knee and he looked up, frowning at the strange person crouching in front of him.

The person - who he assumed was female based on the clothes they were wearing - smiled at him.

"Hello, Jinnie." They said, instantly proving Seokjin wrong. Either that or they had a male's voice. "I'm Jungkook, queen of the fairies. I'm here to make you happy."

"But V-"

"V has failed." Jungkook frowned slightly, turning to the other person, who'd remained motionless during this. "Speaking of V, J-Hope, go find that useless fairy."

"Hey, V isn't useless." Seokjin snapped, wiping his wet cheeks. "V has made me happy plenty of times."

"And where is he now, when you need him most?" Jungkook leaned closer to Seokjin. "Trust me, you don't need him."

"V is in my room, doing what he was told to do." Seokjin said, leaning away from Jungkook. "And if I don't need him, why did you send him here?"

"Because I thought you'd be an easy task for him to prove himself as a fairy. You know, let him make you happy, he feels good about himself and leaves me alone forever." Jungkook shrugged. "But obviously, even that was too hard for him."

"It's not his fault my parents suck..." Seokjin muttered. There was a thumping sound from Seokjin's bedroom, making the two look towards it.

"Owwie! Let go of my hair!" V exclaimed as he was pulled out of the bedroom. J-Hope sighed, ignoring him.

Seokjin's eyes widened as he looked at the pair.

"Wait! V, you can change size?" He exclaimed, staring at V, who was now human-size.

"No. Not normally." V replied, still trying to free his hair from J-Hope's grasp. "I don't have the magic strength."

"You see, Seokjin, V is essentially the runt of his litter." Jungkook said, returning the attention back to him. "He's weak, not very bright and when he was younger it was unlikely he'd ever become a fully fledged fairy."

"But I did." V said happily. His smile soon disappeared when Jungkook stared at him.

"Only just." Jungkook looked back at Seokjin. "Which is probably why he failed at looking after you." Jungkook stood up, helping Seokjin up as he did so. "J-Hope, go take V back. I'll deal with Seokjin."

"As you wish." J-Hope said, bowing. He and V then disappeared, V mid-protest.

"Hey, wait, you can't just-" Jungkook placed a finger on Seokjin's lips.

"Shh, sleep." Seokjin suddenly felt himself grow drowsy. He felt his legs slowly collapse as he fell asleep, the last sight he saw was Jungkook smiling at him.

When Seokjin woke, he was in his bed. Jungkook walked in, carrying a bowl of hot soup.

"For your migraines." Jungkook explained as he placed it on the table next to Seokjin's bed. "Fairy magic as weak as V's is only temporary, this will stop them for good."

"Where is V?" Seokjin asked as Jungkook sat on the edge of his bed.

"Home." Jungkook pulled a little machine from the folds of his dress and stared at it, frowning. "You should stay home from work today."

"What? Why?" Jungkook looked back up at Seokjin.

"Because you're tired. Sleep." Seokjin suddenly felt tired again and began to fall asleep, the soup forgotten.

-

"Hobi, please..." V begged as he sat on his bed, staring at the older fairy. "Take me back."

"I can't." J-Hope crossed his arms, leaning against the wall. "Why do you even want to go back? Everything you could ever want is right here."

"I want Jinnie!" V yelled, sounding like a child throwing a tantrum. J-Hope sighed, rolling his eyes.

"Seokjin is a human, he will die eventually." J-Hope walked over to V's bed and sat down next to him. "It's pointless to fall in love with him."

"I don't love him, I just need to make him happy!" V huffed, crossing his arms.

"The queen is doing that."

"The queen is stupid." V pouted and lied down, his back to J-Hope. He lay there with his arms crossed as J-Hope placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry, V, you'll forget about him eventually."
