LADYBUG FAIRY (TAEJIN)

NINE

"V... Wake up." Seokjin gently poked V, making the fairy laugh.

"That tickles, Jinnie." He said as he opened his eyes, rubbing his tummy. "What is it?"

"Do you want to go to a fair?" Seokjin asked, making V shoot up in bed.

"A fair?" V asked, getting excited. Seokjin nodded. "What's that?"

"It's like this big event sort of thing and, I dunno, I'm sure you'll like it. There's cotton candy." V started jumping up and down where he sat, liking the sound of this fair. "The only thing is you have to hide in my jumper and stay quiet."

"Okay. I'll behave." Seokjin smiled and held out his hand.

"Let's go get ready then, it starts in an hour."

"Is this what a fair is?" V asked as he looked around the place with wide eyes. He was hidden in Seokjin's hoody, which Seokjin had up so V could quickly hide behind his neck if he had to.

"Yeah... Oh look, cotton candy." Seokjin walked up to the woman making cotton candy and bought some. As discreetly as he could, Seokjin pulled some off and passed it to V.

"Oh wow! This is yummy!" V exclaimed as he ate the sugary sweet. "Can we get more?"

"Maybe later..." Seokjin looked around for something he could entertain V with.

"Ah, shut up." A familiar voice said behind him. "I just want to stay home and sleep."

"You can't. There's a fair today. Come on, I want cotton candy." Seokjin turned around to see Yoongi being pulled by a younger boy.

"Let go of me!" Seokjin laughed slightly at the sight of Yoongi struggling against the other boy's grip. "You... annoying fairy!"

"That's not very nice..." The boy pouted.

"Well it's your fault for being so annoying." Yoongi finally noticed Seokjin, who was struggling not to laugh as he watched the pair. "Oh, hi hyung, what're you doing here."

"Eating." Seokjin held up the cotton candy. "You?"

"I don't know, I wanted to sleep, but someone had other plans." Yoongi glared at the boy.

"Who's this? Your boyfriend?" Yoongi gagged.

"Not if he was the last... Thing on the face of this earth." V, who had finished eating his cotton candy, peered out from behind Seokjin's neck and gasped.

"Jimin!" V almost fell off Seokjin as he scrambled out of his hiding spot. Jimin laughed when he saw the tiny fairy.

"V! You're so small!" V clung to Seokjin's neck as he looked at Jimin, not wanting to accidentally fall to his death. "Is your magic still not getting any better?"

"No, it keep staying the same." Yoongi frowned as he looked at the two.

"Wait. You know each other?" The two nodded. "Well... That makes sense... You're both really ugly. Ugly people generally stick together."

"V, careful!" Seokjin hissed as V accidentally grabbed his hair.

"Sorry. It's just really high." V peered down at the ground. "I think I'd die if I fell."

"It's alright, just be careful." V nodded and continued to hug Seokjin. Jimin noticed something and grabbed Yoongi's hand again.

"Let's go over here!" Jimin said, pulling Yoongi away. "Bye guys." Yoongi groaned as he was dragged away, really starting to give up on life.

Seokjin chuckled before breaking off a piece of cotton candy and handing it to V.

"This stuff is tasty." V said happily. "Except it's sticky too." Seokjin sighed.

"Don't tell me you got it on yourself." V looked up at Seokjin, the cotton candy sticking to his face. Luckily, Seokjin couldn't see him.

"Okay."
