I dont remember what her full name is supposed to be or if I even gave her one but for now it's Taylor Olivia Rose. Also this is gonna be a long one
It is now graduation day and i am so scared for my speech
There's so many people coming and I'm probably going to mess up
"What if I forget everything! What if I panic and run off!"
"Babe chill you're going to do fine"
"But you don't understand this is super important"
"I know it is but just relax and take deep breaths. This is your last school thing and then you'll be in college"
"I don't want to go to college I'll be so far from you"
"Says who"
"What do you mean?"
"Oh nothing."
"I'm confused"
"Don't worry about it now go get ready"
"But-"
"Good luck" he hangs up and I groan

Here I go. I'm about to graduate and again I'm nervous
"Okay so we're going to introduce the school and then you'll say your speech" the principal tells me and I nod
"You're going to be just fine just stare at the back of the room"
"Thank you"
"Well here we go good luck" she pats my shoulder and walks on the stage
I take deep breaths like Corbyn told me to and take my place in line
Everyone starts to walk out and down the aisles and me and I walk past Corbyn
I only know it's Corbyn cause he screamed "that's my girlfriend Taylor"
We sit in our assigned seats and listen to the speeches
"And now it's time for the second best part of graduation... our speeches from your class Valedictorian Taylor Rose"
Oh no
I stand up and slowly make it up the stage and over to a stand
"Here's the mic" she hands me the microphone and I set my cards on the stand
I take a deep breath and look out in the crowd
I quickly scan it and see Corbyn waving
I smile and pick up the mic
"Good afternoon everyone. Today is the most important days of our lives and our last time all together." I take a deep breath as people start to clap
"I remember four years ago on all of our first days of school, seeing so many new and scary faces that I almost wanted to run out of the big scary building and into the safety of my moms car. And I am sure I'm not the only one that wanted to run away. However, we all stayed and conquered our first day of school with courage and hopefully smiles. I can insure that we all will have many many more first days like that where we will just want to run away and never come back but we all will conquer those first days too. First days are never easy and they never will be. They aren't designed to be easy. Just like life. We aren't here to live life smoothly with no consequences or roles. But we are here to help ourselves and others when we can. On your first day of school, you do just that. You help yourself by preparing for the future year and you help others that you see if they need help."
