Chapter 3: the city of doom part 1

Max tropolis, a peaceful city where people live peace and happy lives, that was until the cataclysm. Now the city is just an abandoned land where survivors and wonders pass by for supplies to save their shelter lands and where many of the heroes who were turned evil go for some landscapings and some hangout time. In the beach by the city, K.O was unconscious on the ground where the oceans water were residing, and he was hearing the voice who told him to use his powers once again. “Hey, wake up, that voice is calling again and we need to get going or more of those robots will come.” Said the voice. K.O was grunting as he heard the girls voice again. “K.O, please help me, where are you?” K.O opened his eyes meaning he's awake and he got back up on his feet and he looked around. “Well, it looks like I’ve escaped from that base, and ended up in some city.” K.O said, as he looks around. K.O started to walk and went around the beach. While K.O was walking, he stopped after he heard a scream, he turned and saw a boy and a girl and they stood in fear as they look at him. “Please don't hurt us.” The girl begged. K.O stepped forward, only for the kids to back away from him. “Wait, don't be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you.” K.O said, to calm the kids down. “Mary, run.” The boy said, as his sister obeyed and ran into the city. “Listen, I'm not going to harm you.” K.O said as he tried to reason with the boy, only for the boy to pick up a stick and swing it around saying, “No, get away, I'm not stupid. You're one those turbo ryans, and you're here to see if there's anyone here to torture.” “Turbo ryans? I don't know what they are, but I'm not one of them.” K.O said in defense, but it didn't work. “I'm not falling for that, stay away from me and my sister.” The boy said, as he runs away into the city, and K.O running after trying to get him to understand, not knowing a camera was at the entrance of city and got him in view. Later at the newly designed Voxmare, in the CEO's office, the owners Professor Venomous and Lord Boxman were watching security footage in Mini tropolis, and saw the footage of K.O that the camera got. “So, he's still himself after the cataclysm.” Boxman said. “As I feared, I wonder why he's not a villain from the Turbonic waves that spread through the earth 2 years ago.” Venomous said. “Maybe it's because of his turbo powers.” Said a voice, and the two CEO's turned and saw Darrell and Shannon standing before them. “You two want to tell us something?” Boxman asked. Darrell felt nervous and said,  “Well, we found him at P.O.I.N.T’s old base and he escaped from us, but not only did he survive the waves, but we also found out something that changed about him.” “What is is?” Venomous asked. “The destruction from when P.O.I.N.T was infected by the Turbo waves seem to cause to make some damage in the capsule he was in, he doesn't remember anything about us or his old life.” Shannon answered. The two villains looked at each other and before they could discuss a plan to terminate the boy, a voice has spoken, “Well, I guess the boy has a lot to catch up on since his absence for the past two years.” The two looked and saw a silhouette of a woman in her early 20s swing a ninja knife around her hand. “When did you get here?” Boxman asked the woman. “Just now.” The woman said. “And she's not the only one.” Said a voice, as another silhouette appeared next to her and the appearance appeared to be a man in his early 20s and he had a muscular body. “What are you even doing here?” Venomous asked. “We just heard news that K.O is back and he has no memories about us.” The young man said. “And it's really sad that he doesn't remember, he might not even remember us or the good times we had together.” The young woman said. “Well, it doesn't matter because we have more important things to do with him then that pathetic catching up stuff.” Said an another man's voice. “Yes, he need to tell us the location where Emily is and how to contact her so we for our almighty ruler will not fear her and the brat.” A another woman’s voice. In the shadows on the other side of the room, there two more silhouettes of a male and female, but this time, the male is a muscular grown man and the female is a grown woman who appeared to have an athletic build. “So, the whole group has arrived, but the last one is still working on her project, is she?” Venomous said. “Yeah, she said she'll take part of the attack later, but right now, we want to have our fun with the boy.” The younger woman said. “And we want our fun now.” The younger man said. Boxman and Venomous sighed, knowing if they declined the group, they would be getting brushes and Boxman said, “Alright, go have your fun with the hero, we found out he is in Max tropolis where he seem to be trying to talk to two kids.” “Right, two bonus points for the taking.” The young man said. “But remember, before he eliminate the boy, we must make him tell us the location of where Emily is, even if it's by force. And be aware, K.O is not the only hero left from what we heard a month ago.” The older man said. “Yeah yeah yeah, let's just go and beat the crap out of him already.” The younger woman said, as she and the group left. With the group gone, Boxman said, “Even though they work for us, they still work under Maryann’s loyalty.” “Yes, but I still want to know how the kid survived the cataclysm.” Venomous said. “Well. I did say something about his Turbonic powers and alterago.” Darrell said. “And what do they have to do with it?” Boxman asked. “Well he already has those kinds of powers, and his alterago is the source of it, so he was immune to the waves.” Darrell explained. “I guess that explains it.” Venomous said as he rubbs his chin. “Well, let's hope that brat is destroyed by his own friends and family before he could see Emily once again.” Boxman said as he and the other people in the room turn their attention back to the cameras screen. In the city, K.O was wandering around the streets, looking for the kids, until he came across a building with an open door in the front. “They must of ran in there.” K.O said, as he enters the building, only to find it in ruins and in darkness. “I guess looking around wouldn't hurt.” K.O said, as he looks around the building. Minutes passed, and K.O found an office that had a table and small capsules on it and what appeared to be a note. “What's this stuff?” K.O asked, as he approaches the table. K.O picks up the note and read it. ‘I have been studying the energy that dwells within those people who have been infected by the energy of the turbonic waves, and found out that there are some types of plasma running through their veins, and so I managed to take a blood sample of one and use it to study the energy that they carry. What I have found is that there is some kind of energy that they carry that might be powerful, but it also has a ability for its host to inject a type of chemical drug called Yeast, it causes them to unleash a ball of turbonic energy that can destroy anything in the range which is measured up to a 1 meter effective range, and the name of this energy is what I call “the short circuiting”. However, I managed to study the energy enough to make a drug that would neutralize the short circuiting, I call it revolver, and with it, the people with the turbonic powers will not be destructive and powerful as long as you have them in your possession, so use them with care.’ K.O placed the not back on the table and picked up one of the capsules and said, “Well, I guess these things might be useful in the future.” Later, K.O exited the building with a side patch on his side with the revolvers in it. “Okay, now that I have something to protect myself from anyone who might have these turbonic powers, I should continue my search for the kid.” K.O said, as he walks away from the building, not knowing that he was being watched from the shadows.
