Chapter 3: Bullies

Tosharagi's POV

I stepped off of the bus with Kalol right behind me.

"What class are you in?" Kalol asks me.

"I'm in Ms. Jade's class." I say.

"Cool, I'm in Mr. Rock's class." She replies.

"See ya later!" I shout at Kalol as I head to Ms. Jade's class.

Once I get to the class I open the door and walk inside.

"Hello, what is your name." My teacher asks.

"I'm Tosharagi Tokoyami." I say looking at the floor nervous.

"Tosharagi you will be sitting next to Aamir Kirishima." She says pointing to a student with blonde hair.

I walk over to Aamir and sit down next to her. She asks me why I have my hair covering my face. I just tell her I like it that way which isn't a complete lie. She stops talking to me when the teacher starts talking. She tells us that we are going to introduce ourselves to the rest of the class. Aamir goes first.

"Hi my name is Aamir Kirishima. I am the daughter of Katsuki Bakugo and Eijirou Kirishima."

After Aamir went it was my turn...

"Hello, my name is Tosharagi Todoroki Tokoyami. My parents are Shoto Todoroki and Fumikage Tokoyami." After I finish talking I sit back down and listen to the rest of the class. After everyone finished introducing themselves Ms. Jade told the whole class to line up for gym class. I got in line next Aamir and walked silently out of the classroom.

((Timeskip))

I walked back to the bus and sat down in my seat. Kalol walked onto the bus talking with 2 kids I dont know and her brother Kasoi. Kalol walked over to me and sat down setting her backpack on the ground in front of her.

"How was your day?" Kalol asks cheerfully with a bright smile.

"It was fine" I say hiding my face into my backpack.

"Are you sure your okay, you seem kinda down?" She asks looking at me conscerned.

"I'm fine Kalol" I slightly yell but if was kinda muffled from the backpack.

"Well if you dont want to tell me you dont have too." Kalol says unzipping her backpack and pulling out her homework to work on the bus. She unzips the other pocket and grabs a sharp pencil and zips it up quickly.

The bus stops and Kalol gets up grabbing Kasoi and getting off the bus. I lift my head off of my back pack, wait a few more minutes silently looking out the window sadly. The bus comes to a sudden halt and I realize it was my stop. I stand up quickly and walk off the bus. I trip over something falling on my face. A few kids on the bus snicker quietly as I stand up and hop off the bus.

I walk up the steps to my house and walk inside. I take off my shoes at the door and close the door shut behind me. I see Todoroki sitting on the couch.

"Tosharagi is that you?" Todoroki asks from the living room.

"Yes dad." I say to him as I walk up the stairs to my room.

"Toshi, your not even gonna day hi?" Todoroki questions.

"Hi" I quickly reply stepping into my room and shutting the door behind me. Tokoyami should be home soon, he gets off of hero patrol in a few hours. I faceplate onto my bed and groan loudly.

My dad knocks on the door and quietly opens it. I yell at him to get out but he just asks me what's wrong. I hide my face so he doesn't see my black eye from earlier in the day.

I tell him I'm fine but he can tell something is wrong, he eventually stops bugging me about that and asks me how my day was. I tell him it was fine and I tell him about my friends Aamir and Kalol. Todoroki turns pale as if he saw a ghost when I say the name Kalol. I ask my dad what's wrong but he just changes the subject and asks me what I did today. I ask my dad why he changed the subject by he doesn't say anything but then I remember that Kalol told me Todoroki was her dad.

"Dad are Kalol and Kasoi your kids?" I question him.

My dad looks at the ground as we hear the door open and Tokoyami saying hes home. Todoroki quickly leaves my room not answering my question.

"I'll be right down babe" Todoroki yells down at my father walking down the stairs.

I work on my homework and finish it after awhile. I close my notebook and put my folder with all my homework back into my backpack along with my notebook.

I stand up from my bed and chuck my bag across the room, landing next to my bean bag chair by my closet. I open my door and walk across the ha to the bathroom. I look in the mirror and look at my normal eye that is bruised. I think to myself trying to figure out a way to hide it but there is no use so I just walk out of the bathroom and down the stairs. The last stair creaks loudly alerting my parents that I was downstairs. Tokoyami comes over to me and gives me a tight hug. I hug back lightly and pull away from my father. My father looks at me and then notices my eye.

"Honey what happened to you eye?" He asks me questioningly.

"I got hit in a face with a ball during gym." I lie. I feel kinda guilty about lying to my father but he doesn't need to know I'm getting bullied. He'll just tell todoroki and he will tell the school and then I'll get bullied more for being a tattletale.

"Okay I thought maybe someone punched." He replies letting out a breathe he was holding.

"Someone did" I mutter under my breathe but he heard me.

"Tosharagi did you just say someone punched you. Did you lie to me." He asks disappointed and upset.

"Maybe I did lie to you but dad has been hiding something from you." I yell at Tokoyami.

Cliffhangers are great arent they. 😊 This chapter is like double the length of the last 2 chapters but who cares. I'll try to update more often on this story. Bye ♡
