ELSA

Elsa had always seemed much older than her age. She was wiser, calmer, and more reserved than her peers. Even before she opened her mouth, one could tell that Elsa Arendelle was in control of a situation; the way she carried herself had an air of regality to it without ever being haughty, a quality which many envied.

However, she was still just a seventeen-year-old girl and, like any other girl her age, she longed for a date to the Homecoming dance. The dance that would kick off her senior year was only a week away and the petite blonde was dateless. Without a beau or close guy friend to call her own, it appeared as though the cheer captain might have to go stag, which was a fate worse than death in some respects.

Of course, she wouldn't pass up going to the dance and would enjoy herself regardless of whether or not she had an escort, but it would be nice to have someone to slow dance with. Preferably a tall someone that she could press her cheek into his chest as they rocked to a cheesy love song together. Someone to take a picture with. Someone to daydream about in the weeks that followed. This was a secret that the private teen would never dare spill; she had a reputation of being the girl who had it all together and she wouldn't dare sacrifice that. But she'd never had a boyfriend, never been kissed, never even had a real crush.

Although the lack of a crush didn't stop her from looking for love around every corner, praying that she would magically bump into her other half.

"Elsa, are you there?" Her best friend, Rapunzel, asked as she waved her hand in front of her face. The two had been friends practically since birth and were in rush to end things.

"Huh, oh yeah. Sorry Z. I was just thinking about a test I took last period; I'm pretty sure I tanked it." Elsa explained, her tone apologetic. Rapunzel brushed off her response, insisting that she must have done great, but Elsa wasn't so sure.

She had been so distracted lately; all she could think about was how she was almost done with high school and she didn't have any ridiculous stories to tell. She was a straight A student, captain of the cheer squad, and the class secretary, but she hadn't really lived. That, she decided, was about to change.

"Elsa, boo, you're drifting again," Her perky friend pointed out cheerfully.

"Sorry Z, you're right. I was just thinking, I'm going to cut class today." She glowed at the thought of doing something so rebellious. She was going to take charge of her life. She didn't need some guy to spice things up, although that would be awfully nice, she could take care of that herself.

"What?!" Her short companion shrieked in surprise; the spunky brunette had never heard her friend say something so out of character before. She looked around her wildly as if expecting the roof to cave in or her fellow classmates to turn into zombies. After a moment of watching the students talk to each other by lockers and walk to and from classes, she turned back to her normally sane friend.

"Are you coming or what?" Her eyes shone with excitement as took her car keys out of her bag and waved them in Z's face. The two exchanged mischievous smiles before creeping out to Elsa's car. As soon as the were safely inside, the giggles arrived and escalated until they became uncontrollable, hysterical laughter.

Before they knew it, the two were seated at the local diner waiting on two mint chip shakes. It was such a foreign experience for the pair: skipping school. As they slurped down their sweet desserts, they couldn't help but feel like they were robbing a bank or doing something equally scandalous, terrifying and exhilarating.

And things only got more interesting when a couple boys from Once walked through the door. It took a moment for the newcomers to notice the girls but, once they did, their faces lit up.

"So, what brings you lovely ladies to the malt shop this fine day?" Gaston Salaud asked with a wink. He was tall, dark, and handsome, everything about his appearance from his strong chin to his dazzling blue eyes screamed heartthrob, but Elsa wasn't staring at him. She was watching an interesting scene play out between a tall redhead and a slightly shorter, more muscular strawberry blonde boy.

"Might as well talk to her," The blonde, who she recognized to be the new Greek student, said forcefully. But the redhead, Hans, seemed to have other ideas as he kept shaking his head and blushing. While the scene was amusing, it was also very confusing because Elsa hadn't the foggiest idea who the "her" was that they were referring to. There weren't any other girls in the restaurant besides Rapunzel and herself and neither of them were close with the football player.

"Just craving a shake," Rapunzel replied sweetly, glowing slightly under the handsome boy's gaze. However, if he hadn't been fixing her with that winning smile of his, Z definitely would have been singing a different tune. She had loathed the brutish teen since she caught him shaking down some kid their freshman year, but she also suffered from teenager brain from time to time, an affliction which made her melt in the presence of a beautiful boy. Elsa wasn't the boy's biggest fan, but she didn't hate him quite as much as her passionate friend.

"Hey, Z, I have to use the bathroom. I'll be back in a second," Elsa told her friend warmly before whispering to her, "Remember that this is the same guy you can't stand to even hear someone else mention his name, okay?" The brunette nodded quickly before shaking her head and pulling out her phone and opening up her favorite app. Elsa smiled, satisfied that Rapunzel would be too busy launching red birds to care about the obnoxious heartthrob who was mercilessly hitting on her.

She edged her way out of the booth and was almost to the bathroom when a waiter slipped on a spilled drink and plowed right into her, knocking her out cold.

A/N:

Howdy Y'all,

O I am really excited where this left off though because I have big Helsa plans for the result of this collision...heheheeJ Anyways, I'm currently going through some different ideas for a Gaston chapter, which I think would be an absolute blast to write, but I'm more interested in revisiting Belle and Adam and trying to give, Tiana, Mulan, and Ella Cinders (Cinderella) some time to shine. Please review letting me know what you liked, didn't like, and who your favorite Disney character is. Who knows, I might even make them the star of my next chapter. Seriously though, reviews help a lot because it helps me get to know my audience and figure out how to write the best possible story that I can for you all.

LOTS OF LOVE
