"See? I told you it would be a beautiful night. Not a cloud in the sky." Hadrian said, happily looking up at the vast blanket of stars.

"Yes, but it's dreadfully chilly. Don't you think?"

"I told you to bring a cloak." The healer chided, taking his own cloak off and draping it around Tom's shoulders.

It was hard to tell in the dark, but Riddle seemed to have a little smile on his lips.

"We don't have much longer together."

"Don't remind me." Harry mumbled, sighing.

"Guards will come for me tomorrow. Then what?" Riddle's hand clasped his gently.

"I'm not sure, Prince. Let's live in the present, hm?"

Tom looked up at the clear, twinkling sky. His eyes locked on the healer.

"What?"

"What if I start to forget what you look like while I'm away?" Harry laughed softly.

"You won't." He laid back, squirming to find a comfortable spot on the cool stone.

"Here," Tom lied down as well, "you can use me as a pillow." Harry's head settled on his midsection, deciding Tom's legs would be uncomfortable.

Evans let out a long sigh, his head rising and falling slightly with the pattern of Tom's breaths.

"Your father will be happy to see you." The prince frowned up at the sky.

"Are we staying out here all night?" Harry laughed at the subject change, but decided to not point it out.

"Of course not, your back would hurt awfully by morning. Besides, one of us would surely catch a cold."

"I think I could stay out here until dawn."

"That would be an unwise decision... but another half hour or so wouldn't hurt."

Tom grinned triumphantly.

"Do I make a good pillow?" Harry snorted.

"Shh." Tom grinned at Evans, who had chided him for being too loud. "If a guard catches us, I'm saying that I found you sleep walking." The corners of Harry's lips quirked up.

"My, you're secretive."

"And I have every right to be! A relationship between us isn't exactly encouraged by many." Harry let out a sigh of relief at the sight of his bedroom door.

"I kept us up late." Tom murmured, noticing that Harry's eyelids seemed to be getting heavier by the second.

"And? I'd rather be awake with you than asleep." The prince's eyes softened into a look seen by very few.

"You look tired." Hadrian opened the door, leading Tom inside.

"Ah, I am." The healer practically fell into a chair besides his bed, letting out a long breath. His brilliantly green eyes closed for a moment.

"My angel plans on falling asleep in a chair?" Harry's eyes opened reluctantly.

"I suppose not. You may use my bed for the night."

"Where will you sleep then?"

"On the floor." He took a pillow off of his bed and grabbed a spare quilt from the closet in his room. "See? Works just fine for me." Tom rolled his eyes.

"You're ridiculous. This bed is big enough for the both of us. Our purity is none of my concern." Harry snorted, tossing his pillow back on to the bed.

"You have no idea how glad I am to hear that. My back is a pain even without sleeping on the floor."

"You're comfortable with me having my shirt off?" Harry laughed softly.

"I've already see you with your shirt off dear, it'll be no surprise." Tom sounded pleased at that. After a minute of undressing, he crawled into the bed.

"Join me?" He pulled a corner of the sheets back so Harry could get in besides him.

"In a few minutes." Harry sat down at his small desk and began to write. Tom smiled fondly, stretching out on the mattress. It was far more comfortable than his bed in the infirmary.

Evans groaned and finally decided that he should go to sleep. He quickly changed, deciding that it was safe now that Tom was most likely asleep. Hadrian didn't know why he felt embarrassed while undressing, considering his attraction to the prince.

"Are you done?" The prince asked quietly, his back to Harry.

"Yes, I thought you were asleep." Tom shook his head, turning back around.

"I was waiting for you. I believe we only have a few hours left." The healer laughed and got in besides him. He found a comfortable position on his side and allowed himself to sink into the mattress.

"So you just listened to me? That's a bit odd, don't you think?" Harry made sure to keep his voice at a soft whisper.

"No, I don't think it's odd." The healer's cheeks heated up, partially because of Tom's intense staring and partially because of their closeness.

"You should sleep, Tom. Tomorrow will be a busy day."

"I don't want to." Harry was faintly reminded of a young Draco pouting about going to bed. He simply shut his eyes, hoping Tom would pick up at the hint.

"Fine. Goodnight, my dearest Angel." Tom watched his Angel smile. He smiled in return, though Harry could not see it.

"Don't you dare leave before I get to say goodbye." Harry mumbled in a sleepy voice. The prince laced their hands together under the sheets.

"I won't."

A/N: holy Jesus it's been a while! Lmao sorry for my inactivity. I'm not dead as far as I can tell. I haven't had much time to write lately, but I try to take a few minutes out of my day to at least check notifications.

I'm not quite sure where to end this? PM me if you have ideas for endings/other chapters
