Demon's Love

Chapter 2

[Hiyori's POV]

Without thinking, I follow Rin. I've never really had a friend before- I've never thought I needed them. Sometimes I get flashes of my mother telling me friends are a waste of time and shouldn't be bothered with- therefore I never had any.

I look around every once in a while to make sure no one is watching me follow Rin. I see him jump off the bridge, and I almost scream, but I see him land perfectly fine.

"Oh my God... How did that not kill him?!" I go over to a slope where the bridge ends and run down it, then follow Rin to a large building there. "H-Holy shit..."

I see Rin run up to some boys- one short and bald with glasses; one tan and with a blonde and brunette fohawk; the last with pink hair and big eyes. I wonder if they're all in a special program...?

"Hey guys! How'd you do on the test? I got a frickin' C." Rin sighs and holds up his test- which is very poorly done- and it has a big, red C in the corner.

"Well, of course I got an A! I mean, I'm totally gonna defeat Satan one day. I gotta get this stuff right, Okumura! And so do you if you're gonna be a worthy rival!" The tall one pokes Rin in the chest.

"B-Bon, don't be picking any fights with Rin! You know for a fact he's as equally as strong as you...maybe even stronger." The bald one stands inbetween Bon and Rin.

"Konekomaru, shut it. Let 'em do what they want- if they get expelled it'll just mean I'll be the best exorcist in our class!" The pink haired boy laughs.

"WHAT'D YOU SAY, SHIMA?!" Bon and Rin growl in unison.

"N-Nothing...!" Shima cowers in the corner, whimpering.

I feel the need to say something, so I cough slightly. "U-Um..."

"Oh shit. I mean, h-hey YoYo-chan..." Rin laughs slightly and walks up to me, then hisses under his breath, "What are you doing here?! You could get in serious trouble!!"

"I-I'm sorry... I didn't know..." I whisper. "So...you're all exorcists?" I look up at Rin, and he seems pissed.

"So Rin, who's the cutie~?" Shima walks over to us and looks me up and down before oggling my breasts.

My face turns bright red and I cross my arms over them, "E-Excuse me!! That's very rude!!" I humph.

"Now come on, who wouldn't stare at those watermelons?!" Shima laughs, "Am I right, or am I right?!" He turns to Bon and Konekomaru, who nod.

My face turns redder and I turn around, grabbing Rin's wrist. "Why do you have pointy ears and fangs? And what is that?!" I point at a black tail poking out of his pants.

Rin laughs nervously, "I-It's a long story..."
