Breaking A Heart

James' POV

Wait, wait, wait!

Did Halston just say what I've been wanting to hear from her two months ago. I think she's kinda late. Cuz during the last two months I met Peta and everything kinda....you know....changed.

Anyway we stood there in awkward silence for like 2 minutes.

"Well," Halston finally said, breaking the silence cuz I really wasn't going to anyway.

"Halston I really like you. Well LIKED you." I told her trying to be nice. I guess I really wasn't doing a great job cuz she started to tear up.

"Liked? As in past tense? What? Did that Peta girl twist you around?" Okay she was angry now.

"Who said anything about Peta?" Now I was angry.

"No one said anything James. I just knew you were thinking it."

"How do you know it's Peta?"

"Oh so there is a girl who turned you upside down?"

Oops. Probably not my best choice of words.

I couldn't take it anymore. So I decided to tell her the truth.

"Yea maybe there is another girl. And she's not just THAT Peta girl. She's the wonderful and talented Peta Murgatroyd." I said confidently, choosing my words correctly of course cuz I knew the guys were listening also.

"Sorry to waste your time." She said with tears rolling down her cheeks and her face redder than a tomato.

With that statement, she walked away, slammed the front door and left.

I plopped myself down onto the couch. I usually feel bad when it comes to these things. But this time it was different. I didn't feel bad, instead I felt afraid, afraid that Halston was going to do something to keep Peta and I apart.

Kendall's POV

James just admitted to liking Peta.

Wow!

It really didn't surprise any of us cuz Peta and James acted like a married couple. And we totally shipped it.

Logan and I really didn't like Halston because of the age difference between her and James. And the way he rejected her a moment ago caused Logan to look at me and smile.

Carlos tried his best not to giggle.

Oh did I mention we were eavesdropping?

Well we were.

It was our thing...we never kept a secret from each other.

We weren't just friends.

We were brothers and brothers last forever.

When Halston left James looked soo worried. I really wanted to get that James Maslow charm back.

Carlos and Logan said they were heading to the gym. They both gave me a sign saying "Talk bout this situation later."

When they left to change into their gym clothes. I took this opportunity to talk to James.

"Hey big guy." I said taking a seat on the sofa next to him.
