Kumi and Sumi just got back from school and were lying around in their living room. Kumi itched while thinking about how she got paired up with Jiyong in class today. She bit her lips, trying not to screech. She had to focus on the homework that was right before her.
Sumi on the other hand, patted her stomach with a frown on her face.
"I'm hungry." She muttered. Sumi got up and went to explore the refrigerator, which was empty. Sumi sighed and closed the fridge. Nothing. Well, that means there's only one thing left to do. Sumi lightly coughed to clear her voice.
"KUMI! THERE'S NO FOOD IN THE REFRIGERATOR!" Sumi shouted.
Kumi, who was daydreaming/doing homework/ trying to focus, ignored Sumi, but Sumi wasn't gonna take any of it. She screamed at the top of her lungs, it was a mighty force piercing Kumi's ear. Kumi was afraid that the neighbors will complain, so she gave up.
"Well, what do you want me to do about it!?" Kumi yelled back, irritated.
Sumi giggled. "Well since it's your week to go grocery shopping, make sure to get me some yogurt and delicious black noodles!"
Kumi got off the couch and ate the last chip in the bag. She sighed and put on her shoes. "Ok, ok." She thought today was going to be a good day. Finish all her homework, have nothing to do, but no! It just had to be ruined.
Kumi got out of her house and locked the door, only to hear the door from the house next door swing open. Just like any normal human being, she instinctively turned her head to the noise, only to be met with a wet haired Jiyong. Holy mama..
Jiyong was wearing a plaid long sleeve shirt with dark black jeans, it was the first time Kumi saw Jiyong wearing something aside form a school uniform. It looked like he didn't have enough time to do his hairstyle so he just let it down, his bangs covering his forehead.
To say that Kumi was hyperventilating, was an understatement.
Jiyong noticed that there was another human presence besides him. He turned his head to be met with Kumi. Jiyong eyes widened and his cheeks lifted up, showing his small dimples.
"Is that you Kumi?" Jiyong asked, smiling. "Is that your house?" He pointed to Kumi's peach colored house.
Kumi played with her hair awkwardly. "Well, yeah. Its me and I live here." She laughed awkwardly.
Jiyong lightened up. "Yay, I finally have a neighbor that's not like 50 years older than me." He chuckled. Jiyong was telling the truth, though. Jiyong lives with his grandparent in a quiet neighborhood, mostly occupied by old people who wanted to live a quiet life.
Jiyong smacked his fist into the palms of his hands. "Oh yeah! This also means that we can start on our project a bit earlier."
"Yup." Kumi nodded.
"So where are you heading to?" He asked her, seeing that she was about to head off somewhere.
"I was just about to go to the grocery store. No more food, y'know?" Kumi answered and shrugged. Inside Kumi's head, she was thanking her spoiled sister a thousand times. Thank you my dear-beautiful-amazing-powerful-wise-master-Sumi.
Jiyong chuckled. "Wanna go catch the bus with me? Looks like we're gonna go to the same place anyways."
Kumi nodded and the two began to walk side by side, heading to a near by bus stop. All that walking made Jiyong hungry and his stomach growled.
