Chapter 1 " Stranded"

Chapter 1 

"  Wow, that was truly amazing." My manager Sarah told me after I had finished my concert. 

" Yea, I agree."

" Me too!"

"Me three!"

 I heard all of my friends and family members yell. It was my first concert performing my new album so it was pretty nerve recking. I have learned to control my emotions when I get on stage but sometimes they take over me. I've learned to relax and enjoy what I do on stage. What I love most and do best, sing.

" Thanks guys. It was better than I imagined. I liked this concert, there was something different about it. I guess it was the atmosphere, it was different this time."

My manager gave me a strange look after I had finished what I was saying.

" Honey, I think we should get you home because this concert was like any other. I think all the screams from the fans are getting to your head." Sarah said while picking up her purse and handing me a water bottle.

There was something different about this concert. I felt like people know who I really am now. The song lyrics described my emotions and who I was perfectly. I don't know maybe it is just the screaming fans getting to my head. 

" Come on, the limo is waiting outside for us and you need to get ready because we are taking you to a celebration dinner for your amazing concert."

" Thank you, Sarah but I'm not in the mood to go out tonight. I just want to go home and go to sleep."

Sarah looked at me with sadness but soon that look was replaced my happiness. Sudden happiness, almost too sudden.

" But, Dany we have a surprise for you tonight and we need you to be there." Sarah said with a mischevious grin.

" What's the surprise?"

 All my friends shared glances and smiled back at me. Sarah just nodded her head and started walking outside towards the limo. Without further questioning, I threw the empty water bottle away and said my goodbyes to everyone because I guess I was seeing them later. I walked outside and Sarah was already inside the limo texting on her phone. She never let that thing go. My body guard helped me inside and shut the door.

" Okay, we are heading back to your place for you to clean up and look presentable."

Why would I need to look presentable? I was just meeting up with a few family and friends to celebrate the concert. Something was wrong but I couldn't put my finger on it.

" Why would I need to look presentable?"

She turned her head and a grin made its way on to her face. Fine, don't tell me. Guess I have to figure it out tonight. We were pretty far from my flat, so to kill time I pulled out my Iphone and scrolled through my contacts. I spotted the one I was looking for and tapped on it.

" Mom? Hello?"

" Yes, honey I'm sorry, but your dog is being a tad bit ANNOYING right now!" She said while she yelled at Buddy.

" Mom, don't yell at him. He is harmless he won't hurt you and he is just trying to play with you."

Buddy was my 6 year old yorkie, but he acted as if he still had 7 months of age.

" Anyways, congratulations honey on your first concert for the new album. I'm proud of you. We are going to dinner tonight, I guess Sarah told you already. I'll see you later, I have to finish getting ready."

" Okay, I'll see you then."

" Love you."

" Love you too mom."
