Chapter 5 "Stranded"

Chapter 5

I heard someone screaming. I thought I was dreaming until I heard it a few more times. Daniela.

I sprinted and ran like I've never ran before. Where is she?

" Daniela! Where are you?"

" Harry! Harry! Help me!"

I turn around only to hit my head against something hard.

" Shit."

I rubbed my head and I realized I must have hit myself hard because I was bleeding.

"Harry!"

"I'm here. I'm here babe what's going on?"

" Don't call me babe."

I was onl trying to help and she snaps back at me. I should just leave her alone here. I took a deep breath and exhaled.

" Harry! Would you just help me? Stop staring at me like I have a million spiders on my face!"

I decided to get back at her.

" But you do actually."

" What?!"

She started squirming around and screaming. Why doesn't she just get up? I stated too calm her down when I realized she had a tree branch o her leg.

" Daniela! Relax you have nothing on your face!"

She stopped screaming and crying and she glared at me.

" What do you mean I have nothing on my face?"

" You really don't. I was only playing a joke."

Before she even yelled at me even more, I interrupted her.

" Let's get this thing off your leg."

As I leant down to help her, I could feel her burning holes through me back. Damn, his branch was heavy. How did she get this on her? Ughh, finally.

" How did you get this on yourself!?"

"Don't yell at me."

She had a bitchy expression but she looked pretty hot.

"I was trying to climb this tree and try to find some food and the branch fell and I ended up like this."

I helped her up and carried her all the way to the shore. 

" What are you doing?"

" Carrying you and saving you form dying what does it look like I'm doing."

She didn't respond but I noticed she was blushing. Blushing? Her blushing? That's impossible, her face is probably red form the heat. 

I settled her down ono the water and washed her leg. I realized she had a few cuts and bruises on the side of her leg.

" Ow! Harry please be gentle!"

" Sorry. The salt water will heal these bruised faster."

This past month, things weren't as heated between us. We still weren't the best of friends but we weren't the worst enemies either. When the plane had crashed we had lost everything. Food, connection, clothes, everthing. We didn't know how we were going to survive.

Zayn, Niall, and Liam were the only ones I knew that survived. Louis was no where to be found and neither was Eleanor. Zayn searched the island for days along with Liam. Niall had met one of our cost-stars and had gotten really close with her.

When I heard Louis was no where to be found, my heart had stopped. Everyday I wonder if they are even alive. I wonder if I'm ever going to see them again. I cry every once in a while just imagining that I won't see them again.

" It's okay Harry. I'm pretty sure they are fine."

I was broken form my thought when  heard Daniela speak behind me.

" What?"

" Look, i'm not happy they have gone missing and I never will. I know they are alive they have to be. They are both strong I don't think they would give up the easily. I know it isn't easy hoping and hoping and getting no results back. I admit I lose hope everyday but I know we will see them again one day."

She was right. I couldn't lose hope and I couldn't just mourn and do nothing about it. 

" Harry, it's okay. It's going to be alright. We are going to be alright."

I didn't realize I was crying until I felt her hand wiping away a tear. I didn't know why she was being so nice. Maybe it's because I was in this condition. For some reason I believed her. I believed that everyhitng was going to turn our right. That everything was going to go back to the way it was. 

Maybe, just maybe, I might get her to fall in love with me again.
