Debby woke up to the sound of tapping on her window. She got out of bed and turned on the lights. She opened the window and saw a dark figure face to face with her. She recognised the face and regretted that she had opened the window. The face belonged to Lucas.

He asked her to hear him out. Debby was unsure on what to do. She had been let down by Lucas but he was still the love of her life. She pushed open the window and sat down on her bed. He climbed in, closed the window and sat on the floor facing her. She looked sad and angry. He didn't know from where to start. Should he first apologise for not making it or should he tell her about his mother and sister? As he was contemplating on which approach to use, she asked him what he wanted to tell her. He grabbed her hand and held it in his. Debby thought of snatching it away but then decided to not to. He had had a good reason for not coming. Right?

First he began with apologising for not coming and promised her that they will go soon. Debby cut him off. "Soon? What do you mean by soon? Soon as in a week from now or a month!?". Lucas looked flustered. He hadn't expected her to ask him the question. He didn't know when they were going. With one look at Lucas' face, Debby knew that he didn't have any idea. She really wanted to kick him out, but didn't want to be rude.

Lucas regained his composure and told her about his mum and his sister. As he finished explaining his situation, Debby had her mouth open in shock. She didn't know how to react. Should she be happy for him or shocked?

Lucas apologised once again for not making it and asked her to forgive him. Debby decided then and there that she was going to give him one more chance. If he blew it, then she'll never acnowledge him again.

When she told him, the sad look he had on his face, instantly turned into a goofy grin. He pulled her in for a hug, which she gladly accepted. Then Lucas mumbled something under his breath. Debby asked him what he had just said. He looked up into her eyes and said:"I want you to meet my mum and sister" Debby didn't know what to do. Then Lucas kissed her hand and left.

As Debby saw Lucas jump out of the window, she was trying to work out what just happened. Lucas had found his long-lost mother and sister and that's why he hadn't come to pick her up. He had asked her to meet these long-lost mother and sister. She decided to try to sleep again. As her head hit her pillow, she dreamt about the meeting where she met his mother and sister...

Hey guys! Remember me? Well, guess what? I'm thinking of updating this book once a day. I'll try but as I said before, I don't have a lot of time with school and homework. I'll surely try though! If this doesn't happen, I'll try to post once a week at least. Thanks for reading! Comments and feedback are appreciated. And if I have any spelling or grammar mistakes, please point them out in the comments, so I can update the book. Thanks :)~Abby
