sometimes yoongi wasn't aware that he'd curse 25/8. he'd say that he didn't mean it, and obviously he did. he was just so used to it. and by now, he was probably used to being sent to the student council at least 3 times a week. he was known as the cold-hearted baddie who wouldn't talk to anyone. and everyone assumed that he was in a gang for some reason, girls whispering with their obnoxious mouths covered with a hand when obviously he could hear them muttering to their friends,
"i bet he has tattoos, that's why he always wears long sleeves to school."
honestly everytime yoongi heard gossips about him he would snort under his breath quietly at how wrong these people were. just because yoongi swore a lot and hated socialising didn't make him a baddie, but yoongi thought he'd stick to that label since he'd practically gain respect from others and fear, nobody dared to cross his path, and though he was the shortest in the senior year of high school, nobody wanted to get on his bad side.
the other seniors would just stared puzzled as they saw yoongi sprawled across the field with two young under class high-schoolers along with him, one teasingly nudging him a bit too hard, and what shocked them even more is that yoongi didn't even bother to do anything. just let them do whatever they wanted. one even tried to befriend these two sophomores just to get some similar status as yoongi, but ended up being pinned against the bathroom wall by yoongi after school, cold eyes narrowing menacingly, and from that day forward nobody dared to even glance at yoongi and his two friends.
behind closed doors, as mentioned in the previous chapter, if you haven't noticed, yoongi was a soft person. it wasn't that hard to break down his walls if you did what he wanted. which was basically wanting his hand held, getting love and attention, it isn't that hard, is it? and here everybody thought he was a mean and heartless person when he was the exact opposite. sure, yoongi might be mean sometimes but that's only because he finds it hard to trust people, especially those who are closest to him, involving family when he came out as bisexual. though they haven't ever abused him physically, maybe mentally more. by practically ignoring his existance and leaving cold dinner for him when he comes home, sometimes getting blamed for something that wasn't his fault at all.
yoongi was a sensitive person after that inccident. so he decided to distract his bad thoughts away from him by trying new things once in a while, like.. applying navy blue highlights on his black hair that he found pretty. yoongi liked pretty things, and yoongi wanted to be a pretty boy as well, at least thats what he hopes. he always had gotten compliments on his pale milky face, though nobody was really approving of him wearing long sleeves all the time. and you might think, oh, did yoongi cut? does he have a depressing backstory to all this?
well, no.
to put it simply, yoongi was just insecure about his arms. sure they were pale and milky, but he just hated that his arms looked scrawny, hell his body looked like a fucking 14 puny year old kid, his mind trapped in this body. so that's why he started wearing long sleeves everywhere he went, even in the heat, wearing baggy clothes because he thought that it would make him look bigger and more intimidating but to some eyes, they'd just see oversize clothing draped over his small and fragile body.
