Chapter 8

Lina's POV

   I woke up with the worst headache. I groaned and tried to roll over but I ended up falling onto the ground. I landed with a loud thud. I groaned and opened my eyes. I was laying on a familiar yet unfamiliar floor. Wait. I looked around and there were a set of 12 feet. Meaning 6 people. 

   I tried to sit up but I just hit my head on a table. My head ended back up on the ground. I groaned and sat up without hitting my head. My headache just got 100% worse. When I looked around the room too see the boys and David looking at me amused. I rolled my eyes and stood up. Only to fall back over onto the couch. I rubbed my head and looked at them.

   "What happened?" I asked rubbing my head. 

   "You tell us. We found you in the middle of the woods around 1 in the morning." Zach said coldly. Then it hit me. Him. He was there. Not caring about my headache I sprinted towards the back door. I opened it and sprinted towards the woods. I could hear them yelling my name. I ran to the spot I remember. Laying on the ground was an image. I picked it up and looked at it. The picture was of my and Zach when we were younger. How did he find this. This picture was on my wall. The boys finally catched up to me but I just sprinted around them. 

    "Lina come back!" Corbyn yelled. I didn't listen and went into my yard. I ran into my house and to the stairs. I ran up them and ran into my room. I looked at my wall of pictures. In the middle a sideways picture was missing. I put the picture up to the spot and it was a perfect fit. I fell backwards onto my bed. He has been in my room. I began shaking my head and my heart rate picket up.

   "Lina don't run again please." Daniel said running in here. At this point tears were spilling out of my eyes. 

   "Lina what is wrong now?" Zach said coming over to me and wrapping his arms around me. I held up the picture and pointed to my wall.

    "Did the picture fall?" Jack asked. I shook my head. 

   "H-He has been i-in here." I stuttered out crying. Zach instantly tensed up. Zach stood up and motioned for the boys to follow. I sat on the ground looking at the wall. 

   "Guys I think someone needs to stay here with her every day. I will stay here all nights that I can and when i'm not here you guys need to take turns." Zach said quietly but I still heard him. I stood up and put the photo back on the wall. I walked over to Zach and wrapped my arms around his chest. He wrapped his one arm around me. The boys smiled at me. 

   "We are here for you Lina." I smiled at them. 

   "I lov-" I didn't get to finish my sentence before I fell to the ground and everything turned black. 

   Zach's POV

   One second everything was fine with Lina then the next she was down on the ground. She fell out of my arms and was on the ground in seconds. I tried catching her but I was too slow. She slipped out of my hand. Blood came out from the side of her arm and leg. I picked her up and yelled at the boys to call 911. 

   The ambulance came in a few minutes. Paramedics came in and took Lina away. Everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. I ran outside while the paramedics pulled Lina away on a stretcher. The boys were yelling to me saying that everything was going to be okay but really was it. She seems to always be in the hospital. I promise you Lina Lancaster you will come out of this safe. I promise you.
