This starts the couple of dialogue chapters we will have. I forgot to mention that when I outlined this.

Um 3,700 words, which isn't spectacular , but it is a pretty good chunk of words for one chapter in regards to my writing. I hope you all enjoy.

Liam had to be honest with himself, he had absolutely no idea what he was trying to achieve by throwing Harry and Louis into a room and making one of them sing. He hadn’t missed the distraught that covered Harry’s face when he told him that Louis was in fact going to be there. Liam also didn’t miss the fury that flickered in the younger lad’s eyes when he confirmed that Eleanor was going to be there as well. Liam wondered why Harry said yes even though every fiber of his being was radiating pure hatred, but then he remembered that he had been coddling the lad nonstop so he probably felt like he couldn’t say no.

Liam tried not to think about it because he didn’t know what was worse – seeing one of the best guys he’s ever known be in love with someone who was absolutely oblivious or making the same guy feel so shitty while trying to make him feel better, that he feels like he needs to get over Louis in order to make them happy. The entire situation baffled all of them. Although Liam was in love with Danielle, it had never been so raw or honest; he loved her with every fiber of his being, but he knew if anything ended he’d be able to move on. Harry appeared to be stuck and Liam didn’t know how to get him to move. Niall tried to take him out and make him steal some of the Irishman’s carelessness, but it didn’t work. Zayn tried to talk to him, but words were falling on deaf ears as Harry gave up on moving on a long time ago.

Liam walked to the door with Niall and Zayn next to him, preparing to knock when the door was opened. Harry jumped as feet came into view where there should have been carpet and sent the lads an accusing glare.

“What the actual fuck is happening?”  Harry asked with the surprise seeping through his voice.

“Sorry mate. We were just coming to pick you up.”

“I had planned on driving.”

“Niall thought you would want to drink with him.”

“You lads don’t want me to get pissed. It won’t be good for anyone” Harry sighed, running his fingers through his curls as desperation crossed his face. Because even though Harry gave up on getting over Louis, it didn’t mean that he didn’t want to. Harry wanted to walk out the house and just have a good time with his best mates, but he knew it wouldn’t happen. The theme of the night was supposed to be fun and moving forward, but all it could ever be for Harry was LouisLouisLouis.

“I’ll watch ye mate. You deserve a good time more than any of us ‘ere” Niall said softly, trying to be as comforting as possible.

“Okay, fine.” Harry agreed, turning to lock his door and walk down the stairs “But as soon as I want to leave someone better take me home.”

“Of course, we wouldn’t make you stay mate. Your happiness is more important.”

“You sound like a tool” Niall muttered under his breath to Zayn

“Well you look like one, so I guess you got it worse.”

“Arse.”

“Your comeback was so intelligent I can’t even think of an answer”

“Are we picking up Lou?” Harry questioned and the air in the van disappeared.

“No, he’s driving over himself”

“You mean with Eleanor”

“Yes” Liam said, followed by a defeated sigh. He really didn’t want the drama to start before they got there. Hell, he didn’t even want Harry to drink, but it was the only excuse they could think of that wouldn’t make the green eyed boy run away. There was no way to tell him that they all just wanted to be there for support in case they walked into the bar and Louis was right in his face.
